"You look beautiful, dear," Agatha said, adjusting the delicate veil one final time. "Every bride should look radiant on her wedding day." Sophia stared at her reflection in the ornate mirror, barely recognizing the woman looking back at her. The ivory silk dress transformed her into someone elegant and sophisticated, but her eyes remained those of a trapped animal.
