Charyn divorced Walken. It was easy. He didn’t contest anything; he seemed almost eager to go through with it. It was the talk of the season, not because the divorce was messy (it was actually quite civilized as far as such things went), but because no one could figure out why Charyn would want to divorce Walken anyway. He was such a funny fellow, always laughing, full of jokes and good humor. He was a gentleman, a good provider, generous to his children.
