We have been here for a couple days now, I still haven’t been out that much, just for small walks but never far away from the cabin, this pack still doesn’t know my scent so I don’t want to be mistaken as a rouge or someone trespassing. Micah has brought a couple people over after training after one day, he brought them my cookies and now they are kind of a regular occurrence now.

Like on cue the three guys walk through the door. Micah, then the warrior that we met at the gate who I now know as Nathan and the Gamma of the pack named Rocky who is very handsome with his dark eyes and black hair against his pale skin and 6 pack make him stand out in a very good way.

“Hello boys” I yell from the kitchen finishing up lunch for them.

“Hi” they all chimed in at the same time.

They all go and wash their hands and sit down as I put plates on the counter.

“What dessert did you make today” Nathan asks excitedly bouncing in his seat.

Giggling, I turn around holding a huge black forest cake and they all start salivating, looking like cartoon characters.

“Close your mouth boys, I will not be cleaning your drool off the counter.”

Snapping out of it they start eating lunch like their life depended on it just so they could get to the cake started. Crazy how much these boys can eat and not look any less like a male model thanks to their werewolf genes. I ended up making a 5-layer black forest cake and I know there will be nothing left if I don’t grab a slice now, so I grab a small plate and sneak back to where I placed the cake and cut out a thin piece from the back of the cake, not like they would notice, too busy trying to get the cake in their mouth as fast as possible, Animals.

Walking back to my office after taking a forced break from my sister to eat I can hear Rocky and Nathan one of our top warriors coming into the pack house talking about how good something was , stopping to greet them as they walk into the common room.

“Alpha” they say in unison slightly baring their necks.

“Good afternoon, where are you guys coming from” I ask in curiosity, but it ends up coming off a little gruff almost like an order. I cringe inwardly “f**k” not meaning it to come out that gruff.

“we just came back from lunch at that guy Micah’s cabin his sister makes the best food and dessert I have ever tasted” Nathan says

“ Not a bad view either.She is sexy” he adds an after thought

The last comment has Demon growling and snarling in my head for some reason.

“What the hell is wrong with you” I bark at Demon.

“I don’t like him, Lets kill him right now!” he snarls pushing to be let out.

“Stop! We cant just kill a warrior without cause just because you don’t like them.” I yell at him pushing him back, so I don’t shift right here in the packhouse.

Pulling myself back together ‘’I will see you later guys” walking away back to my office as quick as possible. Slamming my office door closed, trying to get my wolf under control its hard, Demon is a very strong wolf and very sadistic if he gets out, so I try to keep him in unless necessary. Pacing back and forth I try to control my breathing to push down the anger that demon is letting off.

Knock. Knock.

“Come in” I holler from behind my desk.

In walks Micah with a big goofy grin on his face. This is the first time I have seen him since he has got here. Getting up from behind my desk “ Micah!” I say shaking his hand.

“Sorry I haven’t been by to see you yet, Busy with all this paperwork” I said with a huff

“Of course, I get it! You’re the Alpha, busy man that’s why I came to see you, to say thank you for everything” Micah says

“Of course, if you need anything else”

Scratching the back of his head he says “Well there is one thing” almost whispering it.

“ I hate to ask for more as you have given us so much but my sister hasn’t shifted in a while and I think her wolf needs to be let out but we need somewhere that your warriors can’t smell her since she hasn’t been around the pack that much and we don’t want her to be perceived as a threat” he says all in one long breath. I sat there in complete silence thinking about it, “you know where to send them” Demon said with a oddly calm voice I have never heard from him before.

Sitting there for a few more seconds letting him sweat it out a little more even though I was already going to say, but you know I got to make sure people aren’t thinking I have lost my edge.

“Yeah, I think I have somewhere that you guys can go” I say with a stoic face not letting my emotion show.

Letting out a huge breath “oh ok thank you Alpha.”

“Thanks again for everything, Alpha Damien” shaking my hand.

Going back to work I feel very calm, something I haven’t felt fully in a very long time.

“What is up with you?” I question Demon skeptically.

“What do you mean?” he answers trying to avoid the question.

“You know exactly what I mean! Since when are you ok with letting other wolves in our private area” I snap at him with force.

I know he is holding something back from me but I don’t know what it is and trying to get him to tell me anything he is not ready to is something that will just never happen he is worse then I am.

“Keep your secrets but if it is something important and you don’t tell me , I will not let you shift” I bark at him pushing him to the back of my mind.

Pushing away from my desk I am no longer the calm person I was a minute ago, walking to my room to change into my workout clothes I need to release this anger but I could rip someone’s head off if they rub me the wrong way not that any sane person would even talk to me with this scowl on my face.

Heading up the stairs to the Alpha’s Floor I can hear Brittney, Hannah and Jessica’s annoying cackles coming out of the game room but before I could hit the next set of stairs to avoid them I see them coming towards me trying to look flirtatious in their painted on jeans and tube tops that leave little to nothing to the imagination.

“s**t” I mumble under my breath, my anger gone now filled with extreme annoyance.

“Hi Alpha Damien” Brittney says pushing her chest out towards me while the others are giving me f**k me eyes.

“Ladies” I say giving them a slight nod putting my hands in my pockets to not give them any ideas.

“Is there anything we can help you with” Brittney asks rubbing her hand up and down my arm seductively.

Ugh God I hate when they touch me, I always have the stink of their perfume stuck on me for hours! How can they wear that much of it and not make themselves sick from the smell, they are werewolves after all their heighten sense of smell must be weaker than I thought.

“ just on the way to grab my gym bag to go work out” I say in a clipped tone just trying to get this conversation over with.

“You know I could always give you a good work out. We had fun last time didn’t we?” she asks pouting her lips

“Sure” I say taking her hand off my shoulder “But that was one time, a long time ago, and now we are done” I say as gentle as I can, knowing that this is partly my fault for sleeping with her in the first place.

Seeing the smile slip off her face for just a second before she plastered on a fake one for her friends saying “ You will want me, you just wait” throwing her hair over her shoulder blowing me a kiss while walking away.

“Why did you let that Shewolf touch us! We stink now, you should of push that disgusting girl off of us the moment she touched us” Demon growls at me.

“I might be a lot of things but I am not violent towards women”, I snapped back.

“Whatever but the next time that girl touches us I will be coming out to take care of her” he says before retreating into his corner.
