Anna's POV
I’m in my room, lying on my bed, trying to force myself to sleep, but then I hear voices outside. One of them sounds like Alpha Dylan, and the other is a woman. I glance at the clock on my wall. It’s exactly 10:00 p.m.
Curious, I get up and tiptoe to my door. I press my ear against it, hoping I can make out the words, but they’re too muffled. My curiosity gets the best of me, and before I can second-guess myself, I swing the door open and step into the hallway.
