Dylan's POV Stupid, stupid, stupid. I slam my door open, fury pulsing in my veins, only to see Vanessa sitting calmly on my couch. “What are you doing here?” I bark. “Waiting for you,” she replies with that infuriating smile. I say nothing. I just walk past her, straight to my bed. My stomach twists with rage. I lie down, clenching my jaw, trying to breathe, trying not to explode. “How did it go?” Vanessa asks softly, but her voice grates on my nerves. “What are you talking about?” I snap, pretending not to know. “I know Anna’s awake,” she says. “And that you went to see her… to make things right.” “Make things right with her, my ass,” I mutter, turning my face to the wall, away from Vanessa.
