My plan is working. Anna is beginning to soften toward me. If things keep going this way, it won’t be long before she falls in love with me. Then I can finally make the sacrifice and get Titan, my wolf.
It’s been a long day. I’ve already eaten, taken a shower, and I’m lying on my bed, ready to sleep. But then I remember something.
About an hour ago, I went to Anna’s room. She wasn’t there. I asked one of the workers, and she said she saw Anna leaving the mansion.
Where could she have gone? Doesn’t she know it’s dangerous for her to leave like that? Not after testifying against Chris. She should know better. Charles is probably already scheming, waiting for the perfect opportunity to take her down.
