17 We exited Fabra’s shop and I paused to enjoy the warmth of the sun. Bleat, however, was less cheerful as he stepped up to my side. A scowl distorted his features and he cast a dark look over his shoulder at the door. “Damn him and his prices. . .” “You’re the one who suggested him,” I reminded him. “Yeah, and I’m already regretting it,” Bleat quipped as he readjusted the bag.
