Ginger finished her last email of the day at work and hit send before closing her laptop and standing up to stretch. Mondays were usually her busiest days and today was no exception. She snagged her water bottle off the table and took several swallows before grabbing her coat and purse and heading out. She’d had a busy weekend. With Ivy visiting, Ginger had gone skiing both Saturday and Sunday. Between skiing and the casual gatherings of friends and family at the lodge, Ginger had barely had a minute to herself.
