- Your Highness please don't hurry so kuch you might hurt yourself! - a maid shouted after Linett. How could this happen? He was dead! Is he really Blake? Could it be a fake one again?! Linett thought and a memory of her and the still young, Blake came into her mind. She knew what she had to accept when she pursued the Emperor, but she never knew she could love and hate someone so much at the same time. Blake he looked so mich like his Highness, but those sparkling red eyes, they always reminded Linett of the harsh truth. She was the second choice. A substitute Empress, despite Edgar's constant affection and love towards her , Linett couldn't be happy until she gave birth to Noah. Her happiness was complete when Noah opened his beautiful blue eyes, and her hatred of Blake seemed to disappear. As the two Princes grew, it was obvious the difference between their personalities. While Blake was outgoing and brave, a great swordsman, Noah was more introverted, he didn't like crowds and was simply a terrible swordsman. Despite their differences, the relationship of the two was more than ideal and her hate raised again... More than hate, it was some kind of jealousy of the late Empress and her perfect son . Linett ran to her room and shut the doors closing the maids out who followed her. There must be a way to find out if this brat is really Blake... She bit her thumb and walked up and down in her room until Linett heard a soft knocking. - Leave me alone! - she shouted but someone opened the door. Linett picked up the vase next to her and threw towards the door. In shattered next to the intruder's head. When Linett saw the tiny cut in his pretty face she gasped and immediately ran to her son, hugging Noah. - My baby! I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you! - I'm okay mother. - Noah said and Linett's heart clenched a bit. She raised him so strictly since Blake disappeared so he could be a worthy Emperor one day, that Noah never called her mommy anymore. She noticed the tiny blood drop rollin down Noah's face leaving a red trace behind. - There is a cut on your gorgeous face. - she said feeling extremely guilty. Noah touched the wound and smiled reassuringly. - Don't worry mother. - he said and his wound shined with a clear blue light. The wound disappeared and Linett hugged him even stronger. He wasn't a swordsman but Noah was a genius for his age and a great mage. The royal magicians were already amazed by his power and abilities. - What are you doing here sweetheart? - she asked and Noah looked a bit confused. His mother wasn't usually this sweet. Maybe she is relieved that Blake is back. I know mom missed him as much as me and dad did. Noah remembered the countless nights they spent with hsi father near camps and battlefields to find his brother. - I came to escort you to dinner. Father, Blake and his friend are already there. - Linett smiled at Noah but her hands clenched into fists. Do I really have to be kind and smile at a snow ghost and a fake Prince?! - Give me a minute to get ready. Read something in the meantime. - Linett said and Noah nodded, he took a seat on the sofa of his mother and the maids started their magic on the Empress. When she was ready Noah smiled kingly at her. - You look really beautiful mother.-Linett smiled at her tiny Prince. She wore a beautiful blue dress with white laces and the maids braided her long, brown hair with tiny white flowers. - Shall we go, your Highness? - Noah asked offering his arm to his mother. She giggled and locked her arms with her son. Noah grew a lot in the last three years, but there was still a lot for him to grow. Noah dressed similarly to his mother and they walked along the corridors with pride. I'll show to that wild beast and impostor what true royalty is! - Linett thought as they entered to the dining room. Both Blake and the woman stood up and bowed to greet them but Edgar laughed. - There is my little boy and my beautiful wife. Blake there's no need for you to stand up, we are family here. - Linett forced a smile on her face and took her seat next to Edgar. The other two sat back down in front of her and Noah, who took a seat next to his mother. The dinner began and they just ate in silence for a while when Linett couldn't bear it anymore. - So, Blake, what happened to you?-she asked and Edgar stopped eating. He was curios about that too, but he didn't want to rip old wounds open at the first night he got his first born back. - You don't need to answer the question Blake. - he said but the Prince cleaned his mouth and put the fork down. - It's not a problem. - he said and his speech was a lot more mature and collected than before he went missing. Linett felt the power from his voice and aura and she didn't like it. - Some of my memories that are still unclear. What I do remember is that, Denali found me in the middle of a battle and saved me from a warehouse that was about to be exploded. She took me back to her tribe and raised me as a younger brother. She taught me to survive in harsh conditions and different languages as well like their native tongue. We got a mission from the tribe leader to come and check out what was the situation in the Empire, when we got caught. From. There, you already know. - when he finished talking he kept eating with grace. Blake didn't act like someone who had been raised by wild people for years. Edgar smiled and nodded towards Denali. - Thank you very much for saving my son and taking care of him for all these years. - Denali stopped eating and nodded towards the Emperor. - It wasn't easy to be honest, but it worth it. - she said and for the first time since he returned Blake acted like his old self and pulled his tongue at Denali. Noah from the other side of the table laughed at them and said. - I'm glad my big brother is back. - Linett cleared her throat. - I'm incredibly sorry for saying this, but I can't believe that you are really our Blake. I mean, she just said, taking care of you was worth it. - Linett stop this nonsense! - Edgar said and glanced at Blake with concern he just got his son back. - No! I need proof! What if they are swindlers who came to take advantage of your good heart! As the Empress I demand that this boy proves that he is truly Blake Wessex! - the atmosphere in the room got really cold and Denali said something to Blake that no one else understood. Blake sighed and stood up. - Whatever your condition is to prove my identity, I'm ready for it.
