Prequel

14 years ago....

"Run! RUN!"

Those are the last words I yelled before handing over my beta the most precious gift a woman could ever have, her child... As I watched the beta run with my child in his arms I could hear her cries as she tried to crawl out of his hold. "MOMMY!" Evangelic cried in the betas arms. I know this is hard but you have to be safe, even if I know deep inside me that I would probably never see you again I thought to myself. As the smoke engulfed them and their shadow was finally gone I turned my attention to the war that was unfolding infront of me. My husband was fighting several yards away but I could see that we were not going to survive this, there was too many roughs. As screams, blood and fire raged on I sensed that this was it, heavy smoke filled my nose and a putrid smell of roughs. As I ran toward some roughs that were fighting my husband I shifted mid air and tore through their necks. As I heard the necks snap and their blood oozing out from where my teeth had sunken in  I let go and turned my attention towards my husband.

    "Eric! Eric! Are you okay?" I screamed through the mind link, he looked at me with fear in his eyes "No, there are too many. Almost two thirds of the pack have fallen and the roughs are still flooding in. We can not hold this any longer..." Those were the last word I heard before I saw Erics wolf falling toward the ground with a loud thump and a gaping hole in his chest. As an painful tearing feeing in my heart started I saw a big black wolf carrying Erics heart in his paws, the sulfur and rotten smell reeked from him as his red eyes turned towards me. As the big rough stopped right in front of me he laughed as he took a big bite from my husbands heart. "You should just have handed me her, and all of this would not have happen if you would just let me take her. I will find her and destroy anything in my way dear Lucy. The moon godess can not save her from me, and you know it!" he sneers through the mindlink. "Oh f**k off! You will never get her or the powers she possesses, nobody will...." Those were the last words I said before feeling his claws rip through my chest and darkness consume me.... "You should have left her to me sister".....
