Mang Lito and the GIANT CRAB

Chapter 10: The Final Wave

The sea had become strangely quiet.

Mang Lito stood on the shore, staring at the dark clouds covering the sky. Beside him, the giant crab raised its enormous claws, ready for whatever was coming.

The magical pearl in Mang Lito’s hand began to glow.

“Something is coming,” Mang Lito whispered.

Suddenly, a powerful wave rose from the ocean.

“LOOK OUT!”

CRAAASH!

The wave slammed against the shore. Mang Lito fell backward, but the giant crab quickly protected him with its huge shell.

“Thank you, my friend!”

The giant crab clicked its claws.

CLACK! CLACK!

Far out at sea, a dark figure appeared.

It was the mysterious man Mang Lito had seen before.

“You have gone too far, Guardian,” the stranger shouted.

Mang Lito stood up.

“I don't know who you are, but I won't let you hurt my village!”

The stranger raised his black compass.

A dark wind suddenly swept across the sea.

The giant crab pushed Mang Lito behind a large rock.

“We have to stop him!” Mang Lito said.

He looked at the magical pearl.

The pearl suddenly showed him a vision of the old lighthouse.

“The lighthouse!” he shouted. “That's where the power is!”

Mang Lito grabbed his bag and ran toward the lighthouse. The giant crab followed close behind.

The stranger tried to stop them, but the giant crab struck the ground with its powerful claws.

BOOM!

The stranger stumbled.

“Go!” Mang Lito shouted.

They reached the lighthouse just as another enormous wave crashed against the rocks.

Inside the lighthouse, Mang Lito saw a strange symbol glowing on the floor.

He placed the magical pearl in the center.

Suddenly, the entire lighthouse began to shine.

A bright light spread across the sea.

The dark clouds slowly disappeared.

The mysterious man's black compass cracked.

“No!” he screamed.

The giant crab moved closer.

Mang Lito raised his hand.

“It's over. The sea belongs to everyone—not to you.”

The stranger looked at the glowing lighthouse and slowly lowered his head.

Then, without saying another word, he disappeared into the darkness.

Mang Lito sighed with relief.

“We did it.”

The giant crab gently tapped him with one claw.

CLACK.

Mang Lito laughed.

“Yes, yes. We make a good team.”

Outside, the sea became calm again.

For the first time in many days, the villagers could see the stars shining above them.

But Mang Lito knew their adventure was not truly over.

The magical pearl suddenly showed another vision.

A mysterious island appeared far beyond the sea.

Mang Lito stared at it.

“Another adventure?”

The giant crab raised both claws.

CLACK! CLACK!

Mang Lito smiled.

“Then I guess we better get ready.”

And together, the fisherman and the giant crab looked toward the distant horizon.

They did not know what waited for them there.

But one thing was certain.

Their greatest adventure was only beginning.
