The moment those words left my lips, I stood there frozen. I hadn’t believed a day like this would come. Me openly disrespecting my own father right to his face in front of the pack elders. He is my ex-dad now so I don’t care anymore.
Marcus blinks like he cannot even process what he just heard. His mouth opens and closes twice before any sound comes out. Tyler’s face goes pale under the blood still drying on his temple.
Connor doesn’t wait for them to recover. He steps forward in front of me, voice calm. “From here on out Claire has cut ties with everything to do with this pack. She doesn’t need any of you anymore. Go find a new Luna or daughter you can use like a toy and control. But not her. You’re all fools.”
