When Ember shifted and I saw that spark of fire as his mouth opened I saw my life flash before my eyes. All the wonderful memories I made with my sisters, mom and dad. A sadness washed over me that I wouldn't get future memories with Wyatt and Jasmine. Then I got knocked down on my ass and felt the warmth of a large creature on top of me. My eyes got a glimpse of the fire surrounding us but it burned too bright and I closed them hoping that whatever was about to happen Wyatt would at least be ok. The fact that he offered himself up for my safety broke my heart. I would rather have him far away from here and happy then stuck.
