Dragons tend to stick with their own kind and live hidden in the highest of hills or mountain tops. For a while there hunting our kind was a big game to many. They believed we held some special powers or sought to control and use us. Our numbers dwindled down to the point where less than 100 of us exist around the globe. Each faction of dragons has slowly been trying to rebuild our numbers but not all eggs hatch and many are stolen. The only good thing about our kind is a dragon egg will never hatch without the proper nurturing from its mother so those who have stolen eggs over the centuries hoping to get their own personal dragon to raise from birth will never get that chance.
