After my exchange with my little mate, I went back to the ball room to announce the beginning of the shifting ceremony.
Here in the werewolf realm, we believe we all evolved from the Moon Goddess Dianna, and the moon as her strong source of connection to us. The moon protects us, the moon sends us rain and sources of living.
So after completing its cycle for about 28 times in a year, that is 12 ‘moons’, the next full moon that comes out is what we call the Blue Moon and it is the 13th ‘moon’.
When the clock hits midnight, that is a new day, we stand under the full moon, shift into our wolf form and howl into the sky in unison as reverence to the moon goddess for sending the full moon to us once again.
