I walked into the red room to see my mate but she was already asleep.
The windows of the red room were open and there was no quilts on the bed in the room. She must be cold, I realized, so I hauled her into my arms and carried her to my main bed.
I noticed a blue diamond necklace on her neck that was never there before. There was something familiar about it, as though I have seen it in a book or something. I was sure it came from her father.
She didn’t wake up so I covered the quilts on her body to keep her warm.
I lay beside her, watching her sleep like a princess. She was the best thing that had ever happened to me, but I couldn’t help hurting her time and over again. I can’t let her out of my sight, I can’t imagine my world without her anymore.
