Several times, I locked eyes with Elizabeth in class, and she looked away. Five days had already passed since she made a public apology to me, and the stuff she had pasted on the billboard had been taken off, yet she was still calm.
The students had trolled her as well, and she was just left with her fellow bullies, but with no outside supporters.
I also expected the Bookkeeping professor to kick me out of his class once again, as he said, and he couldn't even glance at me as he did to the other students. With all that, I concluded that power ends everything.
If I had no one like the alpha supreme, my life would have become a mess, because even the Chancellor was something else, and Elizabeth was respected as someone from a powerful family.
