I could finally sense her. It was a slight hint of her but I knew for sure it was her. She was alive, my mate! I quickly shifted into my wolf and leaped off of my balcony window. I needed to find my mate! I wasn’t going to let her scent go dead on me I paused in the forest sniffing the air. She wasn’t close but I was going to find her and fix this. I drove her to leave and I won’t allow myself to lose her because of my own stupidity. I was going to do right because if not.. .. I have nothing left. I caught her scent and continued tracking her. I heard a branch crack behind me and quickly lunged before looking.
