ANNA'S P.O.V
I kept on looking at the empty desk, hoping that Asher will show up but no, he didn’t. ‘I thought I had left him behind, why then wasn’t he in class then?’.
The thought of spending a full day in class without Asher will be just so boring. I kept on eyeing the door with hopes that he will enter. The first class was over and he didn’t show up, I could barely concentrate in class because of the empty desk that kept sending cold chills at me.
‘Why will Asher not inform me that he will be going home this early after just arriving?’.
“Hey Anna, want to go for lunch?” I heard a deep voice tune in my eardrums.
