Quickly, he tackled Kristina. Forcefully pushing her down the bed, practically throwing her on the soft mattress. He pinned her down with his weight, grabbed her hands then placed them above her head. She fought, of course. Like a wild feral cat hissing and writhing and kicking beneath him. But she was no match for him. Within a millisecond he already had her hands cuffed on the bed rails. He wasn't a dominant in the b**m community for nothing. Tying a woman down was no sweat to him.
He backed away and checked if there's a need to put more restraints on her.
"André!" she called out his name in panic. Horror was in her blue eyes, but it was immediately replaced with hot rage. "WHAT THE f**k DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! GET THESE HANDCUFFS OFF ME YOU GODFUCKINGDAMN DURAK!"
Her fury was relative to the rise of her voice but he was too happy to keep her chained there to care. She began screeching and screaming loudly in a Russian language that he couldn't understand, though he caught a few Russian curse words that were sharply lashed out on him.
The cuffs he used on her had a feet long chain that allowed her hands some movements. She was harshly rattling it, causing the metal cuffs locked to the metal bars to clink incessantly. He knew she was trying to break the cuffs but be he had no worries as he knew too well that those were very sturdy and durable. What worried him was that she could hurt herself by roughly trying to pull her hands off the cuffs.
The reddening of her wrists angered him, he wanted to knock her unconscious just so she would quit it but he said nothing and did nothing about it. She will eventually stop if she felt the sting on her skin, he believed.
"WHY THE f**k IS THERE A NEED FOR THIS?!" Kristina screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Since you agreed to be my wife, I will now make sure that you stay within my grasp. I'm never letting you out of my sight. I won't take the risk of letting you out on the loose again, Kristina."
"You crazy dumbfu-ck! I am not going anywhere! Remove these cuffs at once or I swear I'll--"
"Or else you'll what?" he mocked. "You're chained there, Darling. You can't do anything."
"Just take these handcuffs off me!" she shouted hysterically. "Tang-ina mo! What are you, a f*****g obsessed psycho ex that would hold me captive here? Are you insane?!"
"Maybe I am."
His eyes went hard, casting her an intimidating stare that reeked of darkness, blood, and murder. He was dignified to make her his wife. As a matter of fact, he never really had any intentions of letting her go when they meet again.
She was his.
She belongs to him.
He will go off to the deep end just to have her back. The redemption he's been longing for will be his. There's nothing that can stop him from filling the hole of emptiness in his heart that he endured for many years. Nothing.
The nonstop rattling of the chains led him to sharply click his tongue repeatedly. He shook his head with a discouraging look on his face. "Be a good girl now, Darling. Those cuffs won't break. You're just hurting yourself." Rolling the back of his wrist to check the time on his gold watch, he said, "Babalik na ako sa meeting na iniwan ko para sa 'yo. I'll be back after an hour or so. Take a rest while I'm out. I know you're tired."
He bravely kissed her forehead then instantly distanced himself. He went for the door then smiled smugly at her.
"No, no, no, no, no! You are not leaving me chained here! Pakawalan mo ako, hayup ka!"
"I'll miss you too, Darling." He began twisting the doorknob.
"André! Don't leave me here!"
He opened the door, stepped outside the bedroom, then slammed the door shut, leaving his most cherished woman locked inside.

After a successful two hour meeting with their company's biggest associates, he immediately went back to the room where he locked his woman--his wife soon.
He was already anticipating to see her having one hell of a fit once he came back. But the room was eerily silent when he returned.
Kristina was asleep with her hands above her head because of the chain cuffs. She laid on the bed with the loose curls of her black wavy hair freely cascading down the smooth pale skin of her neck and shoulders. Her skin had been always very light. Like white snow. White skin with a pinkish blush on her cheeks, on her chin, on the ball of her shoulders, on her elbows, on the knuckles of her hands, on her knees, on her ankles, and on the heels of her feet. He was already having dirty thoughts just by running his eyes over her flesh. He imagined running his tongue all over her skin. Kissing her. Licking her. Tasting her.
Those can wait. Everything he had long dreamed of doing onto her will now come to reality in just a matter of few more hours.
He bent down to pick up her hair tie that she probably threw pissed when he left her.
Kristina appeared less angry with her eyes closed. Her face was relaxed and her breathing was steady. He smiled, relishing the peaceful and heavenly sight of her. It was as if he was staring at a goddess in a deep slumber, he could stare at her all day.
Never had he seen anything so beautiful as her. No one could ever compare to the magnificent contrast of the lightness and darkness he saw in Kristina. Pitch black hair, milk-white skin with a hint of pinkness. Those features distinguished her from most women. And if there's anything else he could add to say she's like no other women... It would be his love for her. She was very special because he loved her.
To tell the truth, throughout the years they parted he avoided dating women who had similar traits and physical features like her. May it be the similar black hair, or the similar blue eyes, or the similarity in their choices of words, or even the way they moved. He hated dating girls that reminded him of her.
All resemblances... all similarities... But not the same person.
And he was always looking for the same person.
It was unhealthy to date women who reminded him of Kristina. Not only for him but for those women he used to date too. It made him constantly think of her and made it harder for him to forget and move on.
He smiled more after recalling the moment he went to their university library just to have a small chat with her.
She was only sixteen back then and he was twenty. She was a friend to one of his exes and they didn't talk much in the past except for the few short greetings they exchanged. Well, he had a huge crush on Kristina too so he still tried his best to befriend her.
It all started on that one hot afternoon in July. Kristina was seated on the quietest corner of the library, reading her book and glancing at her phone from time to time. André grabbed the first book his hand could reach on the nearest bookshelf then promptly approached her with a friendly smile.
“Hi,” he said that made her look up to him with her pretty blue eyes. “Do you mind if I sit here?”
She smiled back then shook her head. “Of course not. You can sit with me.”
He pulled out the chair in front of her then quietly sat there. He pretended for a while to be seriously reading the book he grabbed. It was a book about Philippine politics and governance, and though he was interested in it, he was undeniably more interested in her. But he tried not to make it too obvious.
He could feel her eyes glancing on him from time to time, it made him secretly smile in his mind. Not to brag, but he was well aware of his good looks. Because she was really just his type.
After a few more seconds of pretending to read, he finally closed his book and decided to initiate a conversation. “Hmm, what are you reading?” he asked.
Kristina lifted the heavy book she had to show him the cover. “Bailey's and Scott's Diagnostic Microbiology,” she told him. “But I'm not exactly reading it now. I already finished reading it. I'm just reviewing it for a quiz and...” She shrugged and waved her phone.
“Texting a boyfriend?” he smoothly inquired.
She laughed a little. “No. I'm single.”
Good. “I'm surprised you are.” She didn't respond to his comment so he spoke again. “So what exactly are you doing right now?”
She shyly bit her lower before speaking. “Just checking some of the comments that I received on the story that I posted online.”
“Oh, you write stories? What kind?”
Again, she shrugged. “Porn.”
“You mean to say erotic romance?”
“Yes. Girl and boy meet. f**k then fall in love or fall in love then f**k. That kind of thing.”
He usually finds women who speak vulgarly to be appalling, but strangely so, Kristina was an exception. Probably because he likes her a lot or that he sees the explicit language to fit her personality. Whatever the reason was didn't really matter to him. All that mattered to him was to get her more into talking because he really enjoys her company.
“Since you're not really reading now and I'm bored, how about I ask you random questions and you answer all of them?”
“Okay.” She shrugged. Her doll blue eyes largely stared at him with curiosity.
“Cool. Any question goes or are there limits?”
She hummed and seemed to be thinking deeply. “What kind of questions will you ask anyway?”
“Anything that comes in mind.”
“Will they be weird and s****l?”
“Definitely both but nothing disrespectful to you, the queen.” He did a respectful bow to her that earned her one of her sweet laughs.
“Alright. I'll just say pass when I don't want to answer the question.”
He nods. “Sure. So first question. What brought you to writing?”
“Well, I like reading so that's definitely what brought me into writing. I read a lot of romance pocketbooks when I was still in high school--ones with s****l scenes. One day, I decided to try out this online writing site and post my own stories there. At first it was all pure bullshit, because you know, it all started out of fun. But as I went on, I realized that I truly enjoy writing so I decided to make improvements. I decided to write better. Make stories that have more sense than those craps I've written before.”
“Interesting. I should read those stories you've written.”
She laughed heartily but still a little toned down because they were in a library. “You shouldn't. They'll just waste your time.”
“I should and I will,” he objected then quickly asked another question because there was no use for her in trying to change his mind. “Question number two. Would you say your writings are a reflection of your character?”
She nods. “Yes. Most of my main characters can dance through the hardest conflicts I give them. They're strong and funny. Well, could be petty sometimes like me too. And horny! And smart and kind too,” she added. “I almost forgot listing those characteristics too lol.”
“And you also forgot to say beautiful.”
“You flatter me.”
He chuckled. He was definitely going to read her stories because that's just how interested he was in her. He was already a secret fan even before he knew she writes. “Third question. Two things that turn you off in a man outside of the bedroom?”
“How do I explain assholes in English to you?”
He couldn't keep himself from grinning to that. “Pwede kang magFilipino. Kaya ko magsalita at umintindi.”
She raised an unbelieving brow at him with a reluctant smile. “Wow,” she drawled. “Really? I haven't heard you speak Filipino before. Well, not until now. You still have a British accent though when you speak in Filipino. It's sexy. I like it.”
“And I like yours. Hot and spicy.”
Tumawa ito nang medyo may kalakasan. “Parang hot and spicy chickenjoy lang ba ng Jollibee?” She snorted after another pretty hearty laugh. “So ang ayaw ko sa lalaki... Hmm. Siguro ’yung maingay? Mayabang, ganu’n. Maingay tapos mahilig magyabang about things that aren't f*****g impressive at all. Do you get me?”
“Yes, of course. Just so you know, I am neither of those two.”
She giggles and he wondered what was so funny. Maybe she realized that he was flirting and thought it was hilarious? Probably. He was actually only getting to know her, but being flirty is not so bad either if she would take it, right?
“Okay next question. Given a choice, what part of your body would you change?”
Kristina appeared to sulk for a moment. She made a sad face and he wasn't sure if he should feel pity or find her cute.
“I wanna change a lot,” she confessed in a child-like sad voice.
He was taken aback by her response. “No,” he almost shouted the word angrily. She was already perfect the way she was. “You can only choose to change one.”
Kristina pouted like a petulant child. “Then I think that would be my breasts. Them both, not just one breast. I want them to get bigger.”
Given that answer, he instinctively stared down her chest. As he sees it, her cup size is just right. Not too big but not too small either. They would fit his palms... and he had large male hands.
“If you were to go bigger, what size would you go for?”
“Just the right size for my hip width. You know--” she demonstrated her palms as if they were breast cups. “--just a little bigger than what I have right now because I don't want my breasts to look unnatural or exaggerated either.”
“That's understandable,” was all he could muster to say. Changing the topic, he started, “So, which part of your body do you love the most and why?”
She smirked confidently. “My hands. Because they're prettier than other people's hands.”
“Now I'm curious to see them.”
In a split second, she defensively hid her hands under the table. “Oh no, you would disagree they're pretty.”
“Please.”
“I mean they just don't look so bad that it wouldn't be a shame for me to take a pic of my hand holding a cup of Starbucks coffee!”
Her defensiveness made him chuckle for real. “Please let me see.”
Slowly she pulled out her hand under the table and showed it to him.
“Oh my damn,” André blurted out after seeing her perfect feminine hands. He couldn't help but touch her smooth, pale hand and trace her dainty fingers.
She shyly and nervously bit her lips again. She was just so cute. “Is it so bad that you're cursing?”
“Don't get big headed now, but you have the most feminine and sexiest hand I've seen.”
“You got to be f*****g kidding me!” Kristina cracked a loud laugh. As one of the wealthiest students there, he had an untouchable reputation. Reason why most university staff let whatever they do slide.
She tried to pull back her hand but he held it tightly as he was not yet done appreciating it.
“You're not a British man so you wouldn't understand.”
“Do British women have ugly hands?”
“Not necessarily.” He smiled warmly then let go of her hand. Not because he wanted to but because it was the polite thing to do.
“You have very beautiful hands too,” she commented.
“Thank you.” He acknowledged that she had just complimented him but he was more interested in talking about her rather than them talking about himself. “Are you ready for my next question?”
“Yeah, sure. Hit me.”
“What's your wildest fantasy?”
“That would be me getting super rich that I can just sit my ass off at home and do whatever the f**k pleases me. Like...” She shrugs. “Ruin the lives of those people I dislike.” She rolled her eyes and groaned. “Please. I would love that.”
That made him smile with curiosity. “Well, I am sure with your talent you can make that possible.”
“You haven't read any of my stories yet,” she says unpleased like she was only hearing bullshit.
“I haven't read any of them yet but I know they're good. Do you not trust that you will one day publish a best selling book?”
“No.” Hesitation and what seemed like sadness was lurking in her ocean eyes.
“Why not?”
She shrugs and looks down. “I think my stories are all very cliché. Common and unoriginal. I was even accused of copying other people's stories... sadly.”
“Well, I do believe you'll get there. You have the mind and the character for it.”
“You're just trying to comfort me.”
“I am but not entirely so. Remember, dogs always bark at a moving vehicle.”
She smiled a small sad smile. “Thanks for the kind words. I really do try to ignore those kind of bad comments but they sometimes do get in my feelings too.”
“I am not surprised they get to you. You put so much energy, time, effort, thought, into your work. So when some idiot comes and questions what you've done you will naturally feel upset about it.”
She nods and shrugs for the nth time. “I try not to show how much the negative comments affect me. As a hater of many things, I know what haters want the most. It is seeing the people they hate down. I don't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me upset.”
“A wise man once told me that a lion never worries itself about an opinion of a sheep. We both know which one of those two you are.”
She flips her hair playfully and smiled sexily. “I'm the lion.”
“Of course you are,” he agreed smiling too. “I'm sure the list of the things I want to ask you is endless but if you were to list at least three things or qualities that would make you a great girlfriend, what would they be?”
Her back instantly straightened. Her eyes went round with surprise. The look she made honestly frightened him. Had he asked that question so soon?
“I can't think of any!” she cried. “Pass!”
His eyes went round too. “Wow...”
She snorted and laughed. “I know. Wow!” she imitated him. “I wasn't expecting either that that would be the kind of question I'd say pass too. I'm sorry. Can't answer it.”
“That's okay,” he replied trying to fight his own laugh. “We can just proceed with my next question.”
“Yeah, this interview would never be over.”
“Except writing, what's your preferred career choice?”
She propped her elbow on the table and pressed her cheek on her palm. “Actually, I wanted to go for a college course that's related to arts. However, my parents didn't support my dreams. They think it's a bit childish and would get me nowhere. They made me study a medical course instead.” She sighed. “Not trying to suck my own n****e but I'm very good in both painting and sketching, you know.”
“Come on now, Darling. We both know your boobs aren't big enough for you to suck your own n****e even if you wanted to.”
She gaped and quickly blurted something in response to what he said. “You're an asshole! I f*****g hate you!” She said that but still with a smile.
“I know. I'm a big boy, I can take it.”
Andre stared blankly at the Kristina now who slept next to him. He gently caressed the face of his sleeping lioness and quickly regretted it because it disturbed the peaceful sleep of his precious baby.
Kristina slowly opened her eyes and looked up to him sleepily.
The fire in her eyes was immediately stoked with anger when their eyes met and it made his stomach churn with bitter sadness and disappointment.
The hate Kristina had for him now was real and he deserves it after all he did. But he was willing to pay if it's the price he'd have pay just to have her back. He was a big boy before, now he's a man. He can take her hatred.
• • •
Kristina right away rose from the bed with seething fury. The cuff chains shook violently as she lunged at André but he moved away just in time before she could bite his head off.
"GET! THESE! HANDCUFFS! OFF OF ME!"
He stood in a safe distance, close but out of her reach, and tried to soothe her agitated mood with his calm voice. "Easy, Darling."
"Hayup ka! Tanggalin mo 'to!"
"Why don't you quit that stinking attitude for a moment and relax?"
"RELAX?! YOU WANT ME TO f*****g RELAX AFTER YOU CHAINED ME AND LEFT ME HERE FOR HOURS?! PUTANG-INA, GUSTO MO MAGRELAX AKO SA GINAWA MO?! SA LAHAT NG GINAWA MO HINDI LANG 'TO?!"
She was clearly very angry at him.
"Stop," mariin niyang utos dito.
Kristina ignored him and proceeded on ratting him with numerous Slavic expletives that only passed his ears like dead air.
"I said stop." When she still didn't, he ballistically grabbed her neck and roared "STOP!"
They were eye to eye with the heavy tension between them.
"Don't you realize that you're just hurting yourself?" he asked pissed off.
"This!" she spat with undiluted bitterness. "Is nothing compared to loving a monster like you!"
"What the f**k do you really want from me?" she hissed.
He didn't answer. He remained staring into her ocean blue eyes until the blueness calmed his thoughts. Slowly, he let go of her neck. He asked her if the food he ordered had been delivered and when she said yes, he told her to bring it in.
"We will eat first. Then we will talk."
"Hindi ako gutom," gigil na saad ni Kristina.
Inayos niya ang mga pagkain sa maliit na mesang naroon saka niya hinila ang furniture palapit sa kama. "Stop acting like a petulant child and eat with me."
"How do you expect me to eat while my hands are cuffed?
Well he hasn't really thought of that. She's probably trying to get smart on him by manipulating him to uncuff her but he had other ideas.
"I'll feed you," he answered with a playful smile.
She rolled her eyes protestingly. "I'd rather starve to death than be fed by you or eat with you or eat the food you bought."
Ignoring her, he opened one of the food containers hoping that the delicious smell would stimulate her appetite. He ordered roasted chicken with vegetables on the side because he knew she would like that. He also bought something special for her, something he remembered she really loved to eat.
"Don't be stubborn. It's already lunchtime, you must be hungry. Have you even had breakfast before you came here?"
"Ano bang pakialam mo?"
"I care about my baby," he simply stated. "Hindi ka pa nagbreakfast, ano?"
Strangely, it was as if he already knew the answer to his question.
"We will talk about our wedding after this."
"Just the mention of it loses my appetite. Makes me wanna p**e my guts out."
"We both know you don't mean that. Now open your mouth."
But f**k her anger. The fact that she's real and she's there was more important to him.
"Come on now, Darling. Open your mouth," he encouraged. He even held her chin to convince her. Slowly she opened her mouth. "There."
He shouldn't laugh. He shouldn't smile either. She's like a bratty child who refuses to accept love because of her pride and anger.
"Hindi ko aalisin ang mga posas sa 'yo kung hindi mo uubusin ang pagkain mo. May carbonara pa rito. You're favorite."
Naningkit ang mga mata nito. "What are you up to?"
"I'm trying to get on your good side, Darling. We're not enemies. Unless you really want us to be." It smelled really really delicious. "Would you rather eat this now than the chicken?"
She didn't reply but he sensed that she prefers to eat the baked carbonara more than the chicken so he twirled pasta around his fork and attempted to feed it to her.
"Baby, please."
Something lit in her eyes.
"f**k you."
"Right now?" he teased.
"Will you ever quit being so goddamn annoying?"
"We'll get married soon. I might annoy you for the rest of my life, you should be prepared."
"Oh, you mean prepare myself to develop an aneurysm sooner?"
"Tapusin mo na 'tong carbonara mo. Para sa 'yo talaga 'to. May preventive substance 'to para mabawasan ang risk mo ng pagkakaroon ng aneurysm," biro niya. "Here..."
Kristina grudgingly took a bite.
He took out a dark red ring box that matched the color of her lips and fingernails. It was a rose gold band with a huge opal stone surrounded by white sparkly diamonds.
"This is your engagement ring. I want you to wear this and never take this off." "You have to let me touch you if we're going to do this. Because sooner or later, I'll be doing more than just touching your hand."
Jaw clenched. Pursed lips. Kristina let him touch her and put the ring on the fourth finger of her left hand. Matagal nitong tinitigan ang singsing.
André put so much thought in choosing the perfect engagement ring for his woman. It was the second engagement ring he gave her so he knew it had to be better than the last one. He specifically searched for a ring that had her birthstone, opal for the month October.
"Do you like it?"
"It's the ugliest thing on Earth."
That hurt. But he reminded himself that she's just angry. She's just trying to insult him. She didn't mean that either.
"You'll have to wear that ugly thing for the rest of your life now."
Like lightning, the back of her hand whipped a heavy slap on his face, causing him to slightly throw his face sideways. The sound cracked sharply and his cheek reddened with her hand imprint. Mainit at mahapdi.
He showed her kindness and that was what he earned.
He smirked dangerously. "That is the last time you'll do that."
"Wanna bet?"
Sinubukan ulit nitong bigyan siya ng malakas na sampal pero mabilis niyang hinuli ang dalawang kamay nito saka ito pinangko pahiga sa kama.
"You think this is a f*****g game?!" he snapped. "It seems like you forgot something very important about me, Darling. I don't play games. I win them."
She cracked a crazy and insulting laugh. "Oh no, André. This is not a game. I am not yours to play nor yours to win. Even if we are to be married you'll never win me."
"We'll see about that."
"You'll see and I'll prove to you that you are nothing but an egoistic bastard who drools like a dumb psychopath over my beauty."
"I wonder how you can still keep that attitude while you and your family are already royally f****d by me. Makes me wonder if you can still keep that up when I finally get to f**k your cunt.” He gently traced an invisible line on her red plump lips. “After our wedding, I will f**k you very very hard.”
Hindi na ito sumagot.
Something flickers in her eyes. It could be rage... or lust.
If he were inside her right now he would be able to determine the answer just by feeling the wall movements of her v****a.
Soon, he will definitely be inside her.
