I must have fallen asleep while watching the movie because as I opened my eyes to the morning sun, my head pounding like I was having a hangover, I turned to the side to see the laptop still on even though the movie wasn’t playing anymore.
It must have finished during the course of my sleep.
I quickly turned it off and placed it on the bedside table before sitting up in bed. The throbbing in my head grew with every passing minute, my throat burned so much swallowing became a luxury I couldn’t afford, and my eyes, they were so heavy.
