I clenched my jaw, my chest rising and falling as rage surged through my bones. My mind was racing, now I wasn’t worrying about what could go wrong. I was worried about why Martha would want to sabotage this mission.
“Rich people really do have a lot of money to spare..” one of the thugs murmured as they clamored around the suitcase.
“Hey, you!” I called out to the leader and he looked up at me, his eyes glimmering at the sight of the money in front of him.
