Jason's POV

I got into my car and headed for the office.

I parked my car and headed to the 13th floor where my office was .

as I walked into to the office I heard noices in Kevin's office.

he couldn't be here I thought to myself

I walked over and opened the door to see Kevin going through some files.

he didn't notice me until I walked closer to his desk .

"Jason , what are you doing here?

"I have the same question about you ".

"shouldn't you be f*****g some model in a hotel.

"that was the old me ,and plus I have a wife.

"speaking of your wife don't do anything to screw it up with her ,I mean she is the most decent person you've ever dated.

I said as he let out a chuckle.

"like bro you really hit the jackpot with her.

"don't worry i won't mess this up ,he said with so much love in his eyes.

I couldn't help but let out a loud muffled laugh.

"Jason,get out and close the door behind you"he said with so much annoyence in his voice.

I left his office and proceeded with my work

Kevin's POV

I closed the door behind me as I was greeted by one of the bodyguards.

I wondered if Raven was asleep but I couldn't blame her she was sick these past few days

I couldn't help but blame myself for not waiting for her to get better before I dragged her out here.

I let out a deep sigh as I entered the room

I walked over to her bed and she was in a deep sleep, her chest rising and falling she looked so beautiful.

I don't know why I let her go away from me years ago but what I did know is that I would not let her go anywhere.

I turned around and walked to the bathroom .

I took my shower and walked over to the closet and put on some grey sweatpants.

I made my way to the bed and got in I scooted her closer to me and she tangled her legs to mine.

And before I knew it a deep sleep took over me.
