Reading room 16 was a small space located on the first floor and flanked by two towering shelves lined exclusively by a numbered collection of encyclopedias with identical green spines. The owl demon pressed a hand to the door and, after a flash of blue light, pushed it open and gestured for them to enter. Although the room wasn’t all that spacious, it managed to avoid being cramped through judicial use of the limited floor space and the light-coloured walls.
