4 - Meeting my saviors

Ivy It hadn't been as overwhelming to open my eyes this time. What had been overwhelming was the three god-like men surrounding me and the people poking and prodding me. It had been a relief when they left but, the moment they did, the two gods that had left my side came right back. I felt spangly drawn to them, a feeling I had never before experianced. For the first time in my life I felt somewhat safe. They made me feel somewhat safe. "Hey baby girl, how do you feel?" The man that hadn't left my side asked, he seemed to be genuinely concerned about me. Why he was calling me 'baby girl' I didn't know. I looked at, and I mean really looked at him, taking in his features. He had short shaggy black hair, golden coloured eyes and tanned skin. He had a worried look on his face. I wanted to reach out and smooth the crease between his eyebrows. Why did I feel this way? "Who are you?" I asked, completely ignoring his question. A small smile adorned his face. "My name is Ren." Evan, it suits him. The third man had brownish red hair, light grey eyes and light freckling across his face. They would probably wouldn't be invisible from a further distance since they blended in with the light tan he had. "James," He answered before I could ask my question. I nodded. "Ivy," I don't know why I'm telling them my name, but for some unknown reason, I felt like I could tell them anything. Like I could share my pain with them and they wouldn't leave me, disgusted by the things I had gone through. Disgusted by me. Though that does not mean that I'm going to tell them anything more about me. I didn't know why I felt this way towards them and I didn't want to be left even more broken than I already was. "Beautiful just like you," Evan said, still smiling at me. My eyes widened slightly at his comment, and a blush spread across my face. "What happened?" I asked after a moment of silence. I knew what happened from my point of view, but I wanted to know what happened from theirs. Immediately, all three of them visably tensed. Till death do us part
