Chapter 43-01
My heart was beating steadily as I stood there, on the dark hallway of the warehouse. I knew that only one door separated me from whatever was in there, or more like whoever. I could hear voices, but none of them was Eric's. It sounded like two men were having a chat, but I didn't leave yet. Ramsey couldn't have just sent me that text for funnies. Something was up, and I had to find out what, but I didn't want to risk going into the actual hall, so I leaned against the door, eavesdropping for about 5 minutes now.
“What's wrong with him really? He should be dead by now... " a deep, raspy voice said seemingly annoyed.
“I don't know, but I say we wait. He seems barely alive." the other one retorted.
“We could just shoot him. I've had enough of this asshole anyway"
