“Let not this day be a day of shame and disappointment for me, gracious God.”
That ought to have been my prayer this very day before stepping out.
What am I saying? Virtually, every day.
But I failed at it already.
The outcome was playing right to my face.
I stood in shock as the whole thing played out.
I could have sworn I wish I had superpowers.
I would sink to the ground or just make myself invincible.
The voice of Mrs Huxley overtook the office all of a sudden.
I am at the mercy of virtually everyone here.
“Why me?” I wondered.
What did I do wrong?
I was certain those files weren’t corrupted when I sent them.
This day was going to be an unfortunate one for me.
Mrs. Huxley wasn’t ready to hear anything.
