Tanya first made a quick stop at the high school and did exactly as she told Alex she would. She went to pull herself out of high school completely, hoping she would not regret it at some later date. For now, there was no point in her being enrolled in school. There were far greater things that she could devote her time to; like saving her hometown from the undead.
