Maliya's POV:
I was jolted out of my sleep when the sound of commotion floated into my ears.
I pushed the covers aside and climbed out of my bed, wondering what was happening to make the Palace so noisy. Surely, we weren't under attack?
I slipped into a robe and hurried out of the room, making my way to the kids' room to see that they were awake and having breakfast. Gina was seated by the window, staring outside in curiosity and once I saw that they were safe, I creeped back out of their room before making my way outside the Palace.
The courtyard was crowded by people and Harvey stood by the porch, speaking at the top of his voice as the crowd raged on and on.
"It is my duty to keep you all safe! And we are working towards that!"
