"What do you suggest we do now?" Shaft asked as he drew back his phone and placed it on the concrete slab. We were standing at the rooftop of the apartment building that secretly housed his office, looking down at the city down below. "She's using a whole lot of people and I may start to believe your step brother has a connection to what is happening."
"Drake is always in the middle of anything relating to my downfall so I am not surprised," I sighed. "I just realized that I have been holding back too much because he's my brother and I don't want to hurt him. Imagine how much damage that has caused."
"Why don't you just end it all?" Shaft shrugged. "I mean, you're not even that related to him. He's your step-brother and was birthed by another woman."
