Right from the moment I set eyes on her tonight, I knew resisting her was going to be hard for me.
I had expected her to wear a simple dress. Heck, that was all she'd been wearing since I last saw her and I blamed it on her lack of fashion sense and the fact that she was more worried about taking care of twin kids than anything else.
But tonight, she blew my mind. That red dress she had on messed with my hand and it had me saying things I'd been scared of saying.
Like asking her out on a date and listening to her ramble off about the stars in the night skies. It was so wholesome and for a long time, I wasn't thinking of my next move or how to catch someone who was in possession of our divorce papers. Everything moved smoothly, words to words.
