Three nights... three extra night of terrors dreaming about Lizzy trapped in that basement he saw the first night he stayed with Abel. She would cry out for him, not Jackson, not her parents... him. She had to have been able to sense he was there somehow. He asked his dad about it and he explained that if the connection is deep enough vampires can project their subconscious forward. He was surprised Colin was able to do it being a newly awakened vampire. It took Abel over hundred years to get the hang of it and it was mentally draining. He tried to show him how to focus on locating her, the way he used to with Trinity, but it was a struggle for Colin.
