Chapter 2 Jason’s POV I didn’t know exactly why I was so not bothered about Bianca running away on the wedding day. I sat down and took a glass of water under a single gulp when I heard a knock on my door invading my thoughts. “Who is that?” I asked frankly. “It’s me.” Jake said and opened the door barging right in. “Any news on her?” I was rather uninterested. “We tried to catch up to her but we couldn't because she's gone.” He replied plainly. I stood up and walked over the window staring keenly outside but at nothing in particular. “What are you going to do now? Cancel the wedding? What would your parents say? What would the guests say?” Jack questioned all in a single breath. I had a coke smirk plastered to the corner of my lips, I didn’t care if she ran or stayed. All I didn’t want was drama. “Canceling the wedding is not an option.” I said, pulling off my suit, leaving only the plain white shirt on. “What do you mean? How do you intend to get her back? She’s gone, there’s no way a wedding can be held today.” He retorted. I played with a pen on the desk as I pondered a little bit nonchalantly about the situation. “Send a message to all the guests telling them the event time has changed and would take place at sunset.” I said strictly. Justin stared at me dumbfounded wondering what I was trying to do. “And your parents?” He questioned. “Tell them, I went to bring in my bride.” I said keenly, putting on my suit as I headed out of the room. “What exactly are you planning on doing?” He asked after me. “Get myself a bride of course.” I said frankly and walked out of the room. I steered straight to the silver moon pack and went into the big manor staring right In front of me. I had been inducted for about twenty minutes waiting for the alpha before a woman walked in. She was quite gorgeous and shared a remarkable similarity with the Alpha. The unbeatable resemblance was her silver eyeballs which were exactly like the Alpha, and they were the only two I’ve seen with such here. I instantly knew she might be his daughter. “Who do you seek?” She asked coldly, gazing in front of me. Her manner sent me aback at once. “The Alpha of this pack, tell him the heir of the Dark Moon pack wants to see him urgently.” I said calmly without halting the intense gaze from her body. “Why? Why do you seek my father?” She was alerted. “This is not a way to greet a visitor is it? I have a discussion with your Alpha, not you; call him out.” I replied to her frankly. I didn’t have time for all of the chats she was amassing. “Well, the person you seek is no more. My Alpha is dead.” She said rather fondly with no emotion in her countenance. She darted so calmly which raised my doubts. “The Alpha is dead? Your father..” I said in quite a troubled tone. “So it’s better you say what you are here for, I’m the one to listen to you.” She replied, taking a seat on the other side of the table. “I am here for my bride.” I declared glancing at her with a scowl. Her expression instantly turned putrid after my statement. “Did I say anything out of place, your highness ?” I polled and I could see the scowl on her face. “So smart of you to tell me I am my father’s daughter, but I don’t know anything about being a bride.” She said immediately and I could see the tension in her tone. Enough for me to tell she was lying. A woman sauntered in, who shared a likeness with the girl seated. She appears to be the Queen because her way of dressing demonstrates it. “Heir of the Dark moon, you’re welcome to our Pack.” She said, stepping hurriedly to me with a smile. “Thank you.” I said quite coldly. “If I may ask what brings you here?” She asked, looking over at her daughter. “I came here for my bride, and she has to leave with me now.” I said and I was quite prevalent. “No.” I heard her say as she stormed towards me. “What did you say?” I questioned again. “I said..” she was unable to finish her sentence as a loud slap dismounted on her face. It was from the Queen. “You will go with him, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.” She said, frowning at her. I was quite unconcerned about the duo’s drama. All I wanted was to get going. “I won’t go… no..” she kept on murmuring “Guards, take princess Alica to the car immediately.” She said and the guards held her at my back. “No, I don’t want to go.” She kept on yelling out. “Thank you, we will leave now, till we see each other again.” I said and made a slight bow before heading back into my car. She was seated right beside me in the driver's seat and my countenance changed immediately. “Don’t be too flattered about what just happened in there. The only reason I remembered you was because my supposed bride ran off. I don’t want you thinking I want you, I don’t.” I said coldly, gazing keenly into her eyes. “But why me?” She asked with her voice breaking. “You don’t question me. And you are not supposed to fall in love with me. This isn’t a real marriage, it’s just to get off my neck. When we get there, you’re going to act like you should so we won’t have any problems. I hate disobedience so don’t get on my nerves.” I said plainly. She kept on crying which got on my nerves but I ignored her. She was just my substitute.
