After saying goodbye to Rob and the staff, we went to the airport. Our way home was filled with silence. The good kind, though. I ate and watched movies while Zuriel worked.
" Are you not hungry? You didn't eat anything," I say. He lifts his eyes to meet mine.
" I'm good. Enjoy,"
We land after two hours. Bruce is there to welcome us at the private airport.
" What are you doing here?" Zuriel asks, frowning. I hit his arm softly,
" He is here to welcome his friend," I grit my teeth. He sighs and says,
" Thanks for coming," he grumbles.
Bruce raises his eyebrows and smiles at me,
" Teaching his basic manners. Thank you, Mrs,"
I give him a cheeky grin and nod.
" The driver is waiting. Let's go," Bruce says. We are walking to the car when I catch a scent that makes me growl. Ri
