After Alfred hung up the phone, he saw Mia squatting in a daze by the pool at the entrance of the hall.
He walked over and patted her head, asking, "What are you doing?"
Mia stood up and said, "Make a wish with koi fish in the pool."
Alfred glanced at the koi swimming in the pool and smiled. He had asked her to make a wish to the wish tree before, but she did not want to. Did she believe in fish more?
The two of them walked around the temple before returning to the main hall of chanting sutras.
