Mia walked over and felt a little embarrassed in an unfamiliar environment.
When she walked to his side, Alfred lowered his head and looked at her thin shoulders. He asked, "Did you get hurt just now?"
Mia looked up at him and felt that there was something in his dark eyes that she could not understand.
Just as she was about to talk, the door of the office rang again. It was Assistant Xu.
"You go first!" Mia looked at him and said. Then she turned into the lounge and gently closed the door.
Assistant Xu rushed in with a pile of documents in his hand.
"Sir, the Public Relations Department has just held a meeting. There are a few response plans!" He put the meeting materials on desk.
Alfred picked it up and turned it over. His slightly wrinkled eyebrows showed that he was not in a good mood at the moment. Assistant Xu's forehead was covered with cold sweat. He thought that over the past years he had followed Alfred through many twists and turns in the business filed.
But now they had to work so hard for just a few entertainment reports. His boss was always in low-key, and it was the first time he needed him, a special assistant, to deal with private rumors.
"Put an end to this as soon as possible. If necessary, you can send out your company's lawyer's team!" Alfred selected one of the plans.
"Okay, I understand!" Assistant Xu nodded and said.
There was only one door between the lounge and the office room outside. Mia didn't want to eavesdrop on them, so she turned into the bathroom in the lounge. It was very spacious inside and there was a place for shower.
The wet clothes made her feel uncomfortable. Mia took off her skirt and simply washed the tea on her body.
Standing in front of the mirror, she saw that her left shoulder's skin reddened. Although what in the cup was not boiled water, it was also very hot. Fortunately, it was not serious so she could free from blisters.
When she came out, she could vaguely hear the conversation outside. Mia glanced at the lounge.
The decoration was very simple. There was a big bed and a wardrobe, both in cold color.

There were new improvements in Alfred's gossip. Someone found out that he and Ella had known each other a long time ago...
When he came into the lounge, he saw Mia sitting on the bed with her knees in her arms and looking at her mobile phone.
She was wearing the old shirt he put in the bathroom cabinet. Although it was big on her body, it only covered her hips. Her long legs were exposed. Compared with the navy blue sheets, she looked particularly white.
Mia was absorbed in news. When she found him coming in, she didn't know how long he had been watching her.
"Sorry, I couldn't find clothes to change just now, so I took a shirt!" Mia stood up and pulled the corner of her shirt unnaturally.
"It doesn't matter!" Alfred walked to the bed. He looked at the mobile phone in her hand, and then glanced at her shoulder from the loose collar.
"You've been scalded!" He looked at her and said in a deep and mellow voice.
Seeing his eyes fall on her shoulder, Mia felt her ears turned a little hot. She pulled her collar and said with a smile, "It's nothing serious!"
Alfred did not speak. He turned around and went to the cabinet to get the medicine chest. Then, he put it on the bed. Mia stood there in embarrassment. Under his gaze, she walked over and sat down.
She lifted her collar, revealing her shoulder. The reddened skin looked scary but was not so serious. He used a cotton swab to apply the ointment on her shoulder in a dim look. The ice-cold feeling made Mia couldn't help but dodge it.
Her smooth black hair fell down. Alfred pushed it aside with his hand but his fingers accidentally touched her sensitive skin. Mia was so flushed that she clenched the sheets under her body.
The silence made the awkward atmosphere more ambiguous!
