"Of course," Mason replied.
Seeing that he had agreed, Grace finally relaxed. She trusted Mason's character.
The two of them didn't talk much in the back, and Grace also sobered up a lot, for fear that she would say something wrong again.
Mason sent her to the school gate. Grace opened the car door and waved goodbye to him. When he was far away, she turned around and entered the school.
After Mason sent Grace off, he drove back to home.
His parents were still awake. They were sitting in the living room and seemed to be waiting for him.
"Mason." Mrs. Mu saw her son enter the door and stood up to welcome him with a smile.
"Mom and Dad, why haven't you slept yet?" Mason put his arm around Mrs. Mu's shoulder and asked.
