Once we reached the pool I released Isla. I took a step in front of her facing Atlas. “Apologize sincerely,” I said sternly as my eyes locked on his. “I will,” he said gently. I turned and faced Isla. “Don't set anything else on fire,” I said with a wink. “No promises,” she said with a wicked smile. I stepped out of the way as Atlas approached her. “I am sorry I snapped at you. I was already having issues wrapping my head around my feelings due to the growing bond, and I was overwhelmed. It doesn't excuse my actions, but I wanted to explain,” he said apologetically. Isla watched him for a moment studying his movements. “I forgive you,” she said finally and Atlas let out the breath he didn't realize he was holding. “Disrespect us again, and I will turn you into a shishkabob,” she threatened
