Bennett's POV
I was bolting the door before I ended the call. I pulled it open, almost bumping into Jenny who had her right hand up as though she was about to knock.
I frowned lightly at her, "Clear my schedule for the day." I said to my Personal assistant.
Her eyes widened, "Sir, I have your father on the line and he's asking to speak with you." She paused briefly before she added, "It sounded urgent."
I shook my head, "Tell him I'm unavailable right now." With that, I brushed past her, making my way into the elevator whilst ignoring the fact that everyone seemed to be staring at me.
My heart raced in my chest as I descended to the ground floor, my mind focused solely on reaching her as quickly as possible.
