My eyes snapped opened at the loud blaring of my phone's ringtone.. I sleepily reached for and received the call without checking the caller's ID.
'Hello!" I yelled at whoever called me.
'Yo.. miss Rodgers, good morning to you too" a familiar voice responded.
My eyes grew wider and I made to sit up abruptly, but an arm tightly wrapped around my waist kept pulling me down.
'Arthur?"
'The one and only" he replied.
I smiled.
'It's a surprise that you called me, is Jasmine's phone not reachable?" I asked.
He went silent, then I heard shuffling sound as though he's moving.
'We talked last night, I just wanted to inform you I'm back…"
He's back? Wasn't he supposed to arrive today? Or did I mistook the date?
