"Whoa, that's how stars do" d**k says with delight obvious in his face and voice, he put his two arms up, most of the audience kept cheering him, the ones who weren't cheering were the ones who had placed a bet on the ogre.
Dick looks around in the crowd, the dark haired girl he had previously spoken with was jamming her hands furiously, she was cheering for him, but there was someone beside her, he looked so familiar, he had a blue mask on and was dressed in a blue attire with strange markings.
"Ooh you little runt" d**k says as he dashes towards the blue dressed man, the blue dressed man intercepts the punch with a finger, in terms of strength, d**k was clearly no match for him.
"Your abilities needs refining if you are going to stand a chance against what is coming" he says indifferently. d**k couldn't tell if the man was sarcastic or serious, he just heard the voice in his head, he looks around, everyone had stopped cheering, they each were static as if they were frozen.
"The ability to stop time, that is pretty neat" d**k says with a smirk. The blue dressed figure gives no reply.
"You mind telling me who you are supposed to be."
"It is not yet time for you to know, in due time you shall learn of what I am called, the gods expect you to have reached a much higher level of power by now, you are simply disappointing" the voice came again in d**k's head, it was so cold and had no emotion attached, who was this creature, he was definitely not human as he stopped his punch with a finger, the same hands he used to cut metal as if they were sticks.
"Is that why you have been tailing me, you are some sort of servant for the gods or you have got a soft spot for me" d**k grins at the figure. The voice came again in d**k's head, he actually chuckled.
"Your intellectual prowess is astounding, I am a servant for one of the mightiest celestials in the multiverse, she is called Azexela" the voice came again in d**k's head.
"You make her sound scary, is she hot" d**k grins, the voice came in d**k's head.
"You are one amusing mortal, it is a shame you will die soon, you would make a perfect clown for the gods."
"And they say I am insensitive" d**k mutters out.
"I shall be taking my leave soon, Azexela requests your presence in three days, ensure you sharpen your skill, if she sees anything less than impressive, you spell certain doom for your universe" the blue figure says as he vanishes from the spot.
"This keeps getting weirder" d**k mutters to himself.
"I am sorry, are you talking to me" comes a sonorous feminine voice, d**k turns to see who it was, it was the black haired woman he was talking to earlier, everyone no longer appeared frozen as they did before, they were packing up as if to exit the circle of audience they had created to watch the brawl.
"Yeah, I speak a little too low sometimes" d**k grins at her as he takes a seat close to her.
"I don't believe we have met, I am d**k by the way."
"Yeah, I know, you are really popular around this parts" the dark haired female says with a light smile.
"I am Sandra by the way, my cousin Susan told me so much about you especially how you rescued her husband."
Dick remembers Susan, he called her Suzy, very beautiful, she was married to a man called Levi, Levi was captured by the lycanpride clan, a bunch of werewolves headed by Katarina, they wanted to feast on Levi for food, he had arrived and prevented the lycanthropes from devouring him, they performed most of their activities underground, he had forgotten to escort Levi home as Levi was stuck underground for almost a day along with some other captured humans, Katarina was the one who eventually had to order her subordinates at the end of the day to escort the humans home. Suzy thanked d**k a lot even though Levi made fun for him for a female totally thrashing his ass. The female being Katarina as d**k had challenged her for post of being alpha-wolf, it was a tough fight which d**k was later assisted by his teammate Lefinna who everyone thinks is his sister. Levi was shitting himself when he watched the d**k and Katarina battle.
"Ooh you meant Suzy, how is the doll face doing" d**k says with a reassuring smile.
"Pretty good, she and Levi left town, they said it became too dangerous" Sandra answers him, her cheek red.
"Yeah, she told me that too" d**k says in a low deep voice.
"So what brings you to oakland, the city of nightmares" d**k ends the last part with a grin.
Sandra laughs heartily at what d**k said.
"Well, apparently, most people here see the events here as fun to watch" Sandra says looking at him.
"Yeah cause they ain't in their bedrooms getting their heads torn off or any of that spooky s**t" d**k smiles.
"You still haven't answered my question, what brings you here" he continues still smiling.
"Well, I came here for two things to catch a glimpse of the hero of oakland city and to attend my other cousins wedding on saturday, most hilarious event is that the hero of oakland city and my sister's groom turn out to be the same man" Sandra says smiling lightly, the red in her cheeks increasing.
"Wow, you related to Sarah too, what's up with the ladies in your family having faces like angels and names starting with S" d**k grins.
Sandra smiles lightly, as she we about to reply, she was interrupted by a voice coming from behind her.
"You were finally able to take down a threat alone" comes the voice, it was feminine. The duo turn to look at the voice, it was Lefinna, she was dressed in a black latex dressing which was tight against her body as it made her curves more profound, a sword glowing bluish-white was hitched at her back, it showed she was ready for combat.
"What's that supposed to mean, I can take care of this niggas without your help" d**k grins at her.
Sandra turns, the smile was still on her face.
"I see you have made contact with the blue strange figure again, Redoulp wants to see you" comes Lefinna voice in d**k's head. d**k smiles lightly as he gets up to his feet.
"Sandra meet Leffy, Leffy meet Sandra" d**k says with a grin.
"Is it so urgent" d**k answers Lefinna back telepathically.
"Yes it is, he has finally found out who the blue masked figure is, he wouldn't share it with me, says it is urgent he has to speak with you."
"Okay then, I guess it's best we start going."
"Sandra, an issue came up, I have to start going, can I escort you to your place" d**k says staring down at Sandra who was still seated, Sandra gets up to her feet.
"I wouldn't mind" she smiles sweetly.
"There is no time for this" Lefinna's voice comes again in d**k's head. d**k ignores her and continues his conversation with Sandra.
"You know I can appear anywhere I want right" d**k grins.
"Yeah, saw you use it in that fight, it was pretty good to watch" Sandra says with a light smile.
"How about you get the fastest sort of transportation firsthand" d**k says smiling lightly.
"Okay then, so how does it work" she says, the red increasing on her cheeks.
"Your address will be okay."
"Okay then, I stay at averton street, drop me off the local mart there, that will be plenty enough."
"You might wanna hang on tight" d**k says as he grabs her right hand, they both vanish from the spot.
"Great" Lefinna mutters sadly as the two vanishes, she waits for a while, d**k reappears soon. He was dressed in long pants, a shirt and his big jacket which reaches all the way past his knees.
"Had to get somewhere else, Sarah told me tell you hi" d**k smiles at Lefinna.
Lefinna gives an indifferent look.
"So where is Redoulp expecting us to meet him" d**k asks.
"The usual place, the nightwalker clan's fortress basement" She replies.
"Okay then, this shouldn't take long, I would love to test how far I can teleport my body" d**k says streching his right hand towards Lefinna, Lefinna grabs on to it reluctantly.
Focusing as hard as he can, the two vanish from the spot, they reappear at the basement, Redoulp was seen floating in the air, a book opened hovering in front of him, the book was really big, almost as tall as his four feet body. Beside him was Alucard and Katarina, they wore both worried and scared looks.
"I didn't know you know how to read and if you wanna read, you might wanna start with books more suited to your height" d**k smiles, he felt really tired, transporting over a long distance had really drained most of his energy.
The book in front of Redoulp shuts tight as it shrinks to a miniature size.
"See, you are getting the hang of it" d**k says coming closer, he turns towards Alucard and Katarina
"So what is up with this two, Leffy here tells me you have found some info on our blue guy."
"Yes and unfortunately not good" Redoulp mumbles out.
"You see he is the sole servant of one the top tier mightiest celestial beings in the universe."
"Yeah, I know Azexela, tell me what I don't know" d**k says narrowing his gaze at Redoulp.
"You see, they are called the mistresses of the universe, they posses immense powers and extraordinary abilities, even the gods feared them except Larias of course who found a way to subdue them" Redoulp continues.
"So who is this Azexela and what is her slave doing here."
"Azexela is the mistress of reality, she controls every aspects of organic and inorganic forms, for her servant to gain entrance to walk in this universe, she must have a priest here, the mistresses cannot operate in a universe without the medium of a priest, Larias was the first person to notice that, using his outstanding wits, he found and killed all of the mistresses' priests thereby making them useless to stop him..."
"Larias sounds like a real charmer, a mistress is clearly in love with me, what is the big deal" d**k smiles as he interrupts Redoulp. Redoulp shoots him a frown but he continues nonetheless.
"Well, Azexela is not one for romance or love, she seeks to conquer and torture all. She sends her servant to scout the universe she wants to invade once she has a medium there, if the resistance there is too strong for her servant to deal with, she ends it herself as she can will things in and out of existence so long she has a medium in the universe the thing belongs to."
"So why doesn't she just wipe me out with a snap" d**k smiles as he interrupts, he clearly doubted Azexela's ability.
"That still remains a mystery" Redoulp says, a tense look still on his face.
"But now that she is here, we are about to face something worse than Shekindra."
"Y'all really hype Shelly small d**k, defeated the nigga in mere seconds, even getting dressed takes longer time than my brawl with him" d**k smirks.
"It feels good being overpowered" d**k scoffs.
"Yeah and certainly, her servant could have ended you if he wanted" Lefinna says facing d**k's direction.
"What do you mean" Katarina calls.
"I just went through d**k's memory, he met her servant not too long ago, he showed overwhelming strength that even left d**k amazed" Lefinna says staring d**k in the eyes.
"Then why didn't he just kill him" Alucard says a smile creeping on his face.
"I don't know" Lefinna answers.
"Ain't it obvious" d**k says, his face was blank.
"Earlier on, you said the elixir was given by the gods, I am the gods' project and even Azexela fears the onslaught of all the combined might of the gods."
"That would certainly explain a lot but her servant requires souls to feed on, the longer he stays here, the more the lives in this city are jeopardised" Redoulp says striking his beardless chin.
"I suppose her servant got a name" d**k says with a determined expression.
"He is known all over the multiverse by many names, the blue soul crusher, the blue death but there is one he answers to of all."
"And what is that" Lefinna asks.
"The Blue blur."
