Detective Dickson 2 : The Journey begins

The city of Teras

In the nightwalkers fortress, every room was now a place for the wounded to receive medical attention, bodies were continually being wheeled on beds from room to room.   Lots of mages were present in which Sarah appeared to be the leader as she gave out orders from time to time, she was presently tending to a young vampire whose fangs stuck out of his lips, he was young and had an enormous hole in his chest,  Sarah focusing as best as she could, with yellow transparent runes on her palms, she stretched it towards the body but it has no effect whatsoever, her magic clearly wasn't refined enough to pull this off.

   Alucard walks into the room, his face a mask of regret and pain, he came over to Sarah's direction

"How is it going, will they be alright."

Sarah turns at him, she had a regrettable look on her face, she nods her head silently

"We have tried all we could, we are simply not versed enough in the art of healing magic to pull this off."

Alucard's face turned pale, he was in deep thought.  d**k and Tommy walk into the room shortly after, they appeared to be in a casual discussion.

"Hey love, how are the bodies doing, hope no ghost have come out yet" d**k grins as he plants a kiss on Sarah's forehead, Sarah smiles mildly.

"Why's Aluk looking so pale, did he get his soul sucked out too" d**k smirks, Alucard gives him a cruel look.

"Redoulp says he needs to see us, you and Sarah included" Tommy finally speaks out.

"He tells you what it's about" Sarah asks looking at Tommy.

"No, he just said it was important, says it is about the welfare of the wounded comrades" Tommy replies looking back at her.

"Well then, let's go" Alucard says aloud as he turns towards the room.

"You are doing a great job, honey" d**k ends with a reassuring smile.

"Maybe but it is certainly not enough" Sarah grins back, the four go into another room, it was the basement, the luminous blue ball was still on the roof, Redoulp was hovering in the air, he appeared to be in a meditative yoga pose, not too far from him was Katharina's body still lying on the bed.

"You said you wanted to see us" Alucard says snapping Redoulp out of his pose.   Redoulp opens his eyes, he was back in his oversized clothing and his face was covered, he stares through the cloak at the four people who had now assembled in his room.

"We don't have the magical resources or expertise to restore our comrades, we also lack sufficient warriors to take out Azexela herself" Redoulp began, he pauses for a while and takes a moment to observe their reaction which apparently was still blank

"Therefore I propose we go to a place where sufficient resources can be gotten and we recruit more warriors."

"Where are you suggesting" Alucard asks, anger now visible on his face.

"Teras" Redoulp answers aloud.

"You know I am not welcome there" Alucard says raising his voice.

"I don't think the inhabitants of Teras will mind that very much giving this present crisis..."

"Y'all, holdup, isn't Teras the greek word for monsters" d**k cuts in with a sly smile on his face, Everyone in the room turns at him.

"I knew it, we also got freaks in here, cause ACL got so much, I was wondering where our's was"  d**k ends grinning.

"You are right mortal, this realm isn't just a place where humans, vampires and werewolves dwell, in here dwells so much creatures some that even I the guardian of this world is ignorant off" Redoulp began in a calmer voice

"Long ago, humans decided they wanted to rule over this world, they knew they were no match for any of the mythical creatures they were in contact with but there was something humans couldn't be competed with in."

"What is that?" d**k says facing his direction.

"Soul wavelength, you see every spiritual weapon or artifact for it to be utilized successfully, it has to be in sync with the soul of the individual who wishes to wield it, that is known as soul wavelength, the soul wavelength for every weapon is different depending on the purpose or creator of the weapon, why humans had the edge in this area was their ability to manipulate their souls wavelength to match any weapon, the humans aware of this went on quests to acquire as much of those weapons they could find, with the unique properties, they were able to vanquish a fine amount of the creatures they deemed monstrous, since the vampire and lycanthrope race were evolved from the human race and looked very similar, the humans let them live provided they kept their activities as secret and minimal as possible." Redoulp ends.

"What is soul wavelength, I don't even know what that is" Tommy asks.

"It is what you have now come to know as emotions, some weapons required hate, fear, anger, greed and love for it to be used, other creatures couldn't change the state of their emotions at will but not humans, they could find memories and thoughts, dwell on them and change their present state of emotion to match the required wavelength of any weapon, this ability was dwindled in the evolved race of human such as the vampires and werewolves.   The ability of humans to match their soul wavelength to any mystical weapon made them the superior race." Redoulp ends.

"So why is Alucard unwelcome in the city of monsters" Sarah asks.

"When the humans were having their slaughter, before then, Alucard was having a thing with an elven princess, the humans considered the elves monsters too so they drove them back" Redoulp continues

"Alucard would not abandon the welfare of his people for simple emotional feelings, he felt his people were much more of a priority so he abandoned her.  One of my job as the guardian of this realm is to ensure tranquility amongst it's residents so by using a divine artifact which can only be wielded by guardians, I created an intra dimensional world for the monsters, it is now called the city of Teras."

"Wow and I was here thinking you were still a virgin and was tryna get Kilo, so you are a player, welcome to the club, man" d**k smiles at Alucard, Alucard shows d**k a scowling face as he leaves the room.

When he had left, Redoulp chuckles lightly facing Dick

"Were you able to get the second material needed?"

"No turns out the place belonged to the government, the place is now a construction site" d**k mutters out.

"What's the problem love" Sarah says turning her attention to him.

"Leffy and I went to face Azexela, I lost my abilities, Leffy wasn't as lucky" d**k ends with a tone of soberness, he was expecting a slap from Tommy because he knew he liked her very much.

"Who is Leffy?" Sarah asks with a look of amazement.

Dick's mouth opens in wide amazement, Leffy and Sarah got along really well back in the days but the expression on her face showed she really didn't know who he was talking about.  d**k looks over at Tommy, Tommy too had an amazed look on his face but not one of surprise, it was of admiration.

"Thought you was done with player s**t, man" Tommy whispers so low that only d**k could hear. 

"No Leffy isn't one girl I hooked up with, she is my friend" d**k voices out loud, looking over at Tommy

"You too were dating, you even took her to Miami."

"Everyone knows Tommy doesn't travel out, he stays here for work purposes alone, I thought you promised you would be faithful" Sarah says aloud, her face had a crestfallen expression.

"Yeah man, what the heck are you talking about, you know of all people I  don't go for vacations and even if I wanna take a girl out, she has to be the one" Tommy voices out, raising his voice louder.

Dick looks at the duo, they didn't appear to be kidding, the were actually getting annoyed, he looks over at Redoulp, he had an amused look on his face.

"Did I dream Leffy up, no, that's impossible but how come only I remember her, does Azexela have something to do with this."

"d**k, how could you, I thought you were done with your sinful ways" Sarah says out loud shooting a disappointed face

"I guess we can as well cancel our wedding on Saturday since you are clearly not ready for a commitment."

Sarah turns as if to leave the room.

"No, love, that isn't it" d**k says as he dashes to her, looking at her eyes, though tears didn't come out, d**k could see she was in great pain.

"Sarah, you are the best thing that ever happened to me, you made me the happiest man ever when you said yes, I swear to you I would do anything to love and be with you only for all eternity, I never cheated with Leffy, she was actually my friend, actually our friend, she was organising your sprinters night out, you might not remember her but it's true" d**k ends with a somber expression.

"Well, if you are telling the truth why don't you let Sarah probe you" Tommy smirks.  d**k looks at Sarah, he hated it when people got into his mind but he needed to prove to her he wasn't lying.

"Yes, that would be a great idea" d**k says aloud.  d**k gets to his knees, putting Sarah's hands on his head

"Honey, you know I don't like this but I ain't lying and I am willing to prove it to you."

Sarah bends her head down, kisses him on the forehead

"Get up, love" she whispers.

Dick gets up on his feet, Sarah lunges in as she locks him in a tight embrace

"I trust you, dear, Redoulp said before you went that Azexela has the ability to wipe people from existence, that is probably the cause of all this."

Dick hugs her back, his face solemn.

"Are you two gonna hug all day or we are going to go vindicate our world" comes a voice behind them, the four turns, It was Alucard but he had changed his dressing, he had on a jean jacket which a tartan shirt was worn underneath, it was completed with a tapered acid wash Jean with dope shoes, he didn't look like he was going for war, he looked like he like a teenager going for a date.

"Aluk, you know we are going for a war, right not some local hookup" d**k says with an amazed look on his face.

"Yeah but I am gonna meet Alma, how do I look" Alucard says turning around as if he was showcasing for a model spot, it was shocking, Alucard was always wearing a serious expression in the past, now he looked jovial and he was trying to make a good impression, it was almost unbelievable, it left everyone except Redoulp amazed.

"You look slick, man" d**k smiles at him giving him the thumbs up, Alucard smiles back at him too. 

"So I take it we are ready to go" Redoulp voices aloud, a small yellow cube with red spheres etched on every side appears in his right palm

"An intra-dimension is different from an inter-dimension, inter-dimensions is another word for other universes, realms or worlds.   An intra-dimension is a world created based on a parent universe, this universe being the parent in the case, for an intra-dimension to be created, a mokionbox was one of the artifacts to be used only accessible to guardians in case of inter-specie conflict, every guardian is given at most three, the problem with the mokionbox is that the world created through it can never be more than a small city and once the mokionbox is destroyed, the same fate befalls the intra-dimension and all its inhabitants so it must be kept safe at all times" Redoulp ends with a somber expression, looking over at the four in front of him

"Now place your hands on the cube."

"We ain't all dwarves, you know" d**k grins at the dwarf, Redoulp shoots him an annoyed grin as he drops the cube, the cube begins to expand till it towered everyone in the room in terms of size and height.

"How about now" Redoulp now has a smirk on his face.

"I stand corrected" d**k says as he places his hands on a side of the cube, the rest do and they vanish from the area.  When they had, a figure appears visibly, he was invisible before, it was Daniel Rollover.

"It would be convenient to destroy the cube now and rid mistress of her only threat but a wide array of species with various soulic energies will please the mistress as well" Daniel gives a mild smile as he touches the cube too, he disappears from view as soon as he does.
