An old enemy

In the basement of the nightwalker's fortress, a gush of white wave in the shape of a ball appears in the middle of the room, there was a small luminous blue ball which was about forty feet high in the air, it was located at the roof of the castle, at the left far end side of the room stood a lot of books scattered about, each written in a strange language, not too far from the pile of books were two small beds, Resting on the two beds were Katarina and Redoulp, they appeared unconscious. The white ball of white wave begins to dim, soon the wave was dispersed out completely, d**k falls from it with a bump, followed by a clanking sound.
Dick was troubled at the events that took place back at the mistress' domain, it all happened so fast, she had caused Lefinna his best friend to disappear with a snap of her fingers, she claimed to have taken his abilities, d**k prays internally and hope it wasn't true as he looks at his hands, to his dismay, his middle finger was still gone and there was fresh blood on the part where the finger was slit off.
"I hope Alucard and Kilo were able to defeat her medium" d**k gets up to his feet, he surveyed his environment, he couldn't shake the feeling that something terrible had happened, he then notices the two beds at the corner of the room, as quick as he could, he moves to the bed and sees Kilo lying on it, he tries to use his internal vision to check what we wrong with her body and again, nothing happens, using his hands, he checks for her pulse but he couldn't hear a sound.
"This can't be happening, was Rollover so strong" d**k thinks, his face was beginning to show fear, looking over at the next bed, he sees Redoulp, he too was unconscious.
"I battled a medium just barely an hour ago, how did this all these happen within a short time" d**k thinks as he steps back, he recollects Lefinna's words which was a minute in the universe he had left was a day here, well.
"Have I been gone for weeks" d**k mutters aloud as he thought.
"No, you son of a d**k, I transported you through a time-balancing portal so as to enable the same time free-flow for the two worlds" comes a weak voice behind him, d**k turns around to see Redoulp sitting up on the bed, his unusually large clothing was off, it was then that d**k notices his small brown body which was decorated with scars, his face was molted as always with a small horn sticking out of the left side of his neck, he had a face only a mother could love, d**k fought the temptation to make a wisecrack as he dashes to the dwarf, he embraces him tightly, a tear nearly dripping from his eyes.
"Thought I lost you" d**k says crushing the small body in his tight embrace.
"Azexela must have really broke you, when did you get so nice" Redoulp says weakly as he tries to break out of the embrace. d**k smiles lightly, he releases the body from the embrace.
"Sorry about that, I am just so happy to see you, what happened here."
"The mistress' slave came visiting, he thought he finished me off but I survived just barely" Redoulp says out as he sits up fully on the chair, d**k takes a seat close to him, pointing towards Katarina.
"How about her, what happened to her, did the blue blur also do this."
Redoulp turns towards the attractive body sleeping on the bed close to him, Katarina was in a black dress, her hair was spread out behind her face, her eyes shut along with her small red lips. She looked like an angel sleeping
"She and Alucard went to face off Azexela's priest, they were not successful and as you can see, she wasn't so lucky" Redoulp ends as he bows his head down, there was a pang of guilt on his face.
Dick felt annoyed with himself.
"Why did I have to play hero, If I had fought Danny alongside with them, we would have won, now I lost my bestie and I am now pathetic in this war." Redoulp looks over at d**k, he could feel the mortal at turmoil with himself.
"Don't feel bad, son of a d**k, your intentions were noble, you should learn to accept failure as it comes but never let it wear you down" Redoulp says in a kind voice looking at d**k, a tear falls from d**k's left eye.
"I know, I just feel it is all my fault, I thought I could take her on alone, my pride f****d all these up" d**k mutters out sadly.
"I don't know what Azexela did to you but she certainly did it right, I haven't known you to regret your decisions no matter what happened" Redoulp says in his direction, there was a smirk to his voice.
Dick smiles a little, he just couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt, it was as if it was implanted into him as he just kept blaming and insulting himself internally.
"Lemme take care of this" Redoulp says as he places his hands on d**k's head, he recites a few words, d**k feels a burden broken, he had just felt only regret and anger before, now he felt in control.
"What was wrong with me" d**k asks as he gets to his feet.
"Azexela must have placed a spell on you, it's effects caused you to lose your morale very effective on mortal minds especially" Redoulp says in his direction.
"How did she have time to do that, I was barely with her for a minute, she is clearly smarter than I give her credit for" d**k thinks, he look at his right palm and notices his detached middle finger, pointing it towards Redoulp
"Can you do something about this."
"Thought you would never ask" Redoulp says as he begins to chant some words, in a flash, d**k feels something growing on the spot where his middle finger was on his right hand, he looks an sees a bone grow, when it had reached a certain height, it stopped, soon flesh and blood begin to cover it, soon it was whole again.
"You are really handy, you know that" d**k smiles as he looks at his palm, his finger was there again, although, he felt he was powerless but that wasn't gonna stop him from facing Azexela
"The elixir made me an alpha-human, If I get immersed in it, I can have my abilities back right" d**k says aloud facing Redoulp's direction
Redoulp pauses for a while as though giving it some thought.
"The elixir was created in order to locate the strongest recessive gene in the body and empower it to be dominant, every human posses recessive gene of a stronger creature, it was usually a vampire, were-wolf or even an hybrid so since the one in your body is that of the alpha-human, I say it is very possible." Redoulp says aloud after a while.
"But the last of it was given to Griff, it is in two parts you see, they need to both be mixed for the elixir to take effect."
"If that's the case, don't worry, I got a part at home and I remember the last location of the other part" d**k smiles to him, he begins to grope his body as though searching for something
"Ooh s**t, Leffy had the device with her" turning towards Redoulp
"Bruv, can you give me a ride" d**k ends with a weak smile.
Redoulp gives a small grin, he mumbles a few spells and d**k vanishes from his sight.
"That mortal always gets on my nerves, I could sure use a day off."
Dick reappears on the road.
"I wanted to appear at home exactly, blasted dwarf" d**k shouts aloud, he looks around, the whole street was a mess, there were a lot of wrecked cars on the road, so much dead bodies and even more unconscious pale white bodies.
"I will get you for this, Azexela" d**k mutters to himself, d**k hears a munching sound, when he had super hearing, the sounds were usually loud but this seemed so silent compared to before, slowly, he turns around, right at his back was an Azexelan spawn at final form, it was feeding off on the body of a man dressed as a clown.
"Doesn't he taste funny" d**k grins at the beast, the beast turns slowly towards him, let's out a deafeaning growl and leaps towards him, d**k expecting that moves to his right, guided by his instinct, he pulls his weapon out of his jacket, pointing it at the head of the beast which had appeared at his side.
"Your goddess will be joining you soon" d**k grins as he pulls the trigger. The beast's head blasts into smithereens.
"Score one for the D" d**k smiles to himself, his temporary happiness was shortlived as he hears deafening thumping sound heading his direction, as fast as he could, d**k dashes to the building which he resided, he looked around, there were more pale white bodies on the floor.
Dick walks in slowly and quietly, careful to be as stealthy as possible. Soon, he arrives at his apartment but his door was broken to bits, he heard a pouring sound, he steps inside and sees a tall man holding a bottle of his champagne pouring it into a glass cups. d**k tiptoes as quietly as he could to the kitchen, he opens the first drawer and takes a small vial containing a pink substance.
"You know it's rude to come into someone's home uninvited and take their finest champagne" d**k says aloud as he pockets the vial in his pocket.
"You finally learning morals, the world is really coming to an end" a voice answers back, it sounded oddly familiar. The man comes into the kitchen sipping wine from the cup slowly, he was dressed in a white three piece suit and he looked really cool.
"Rudy, I thought you was supposed to be away for a hundred more years, did they let you out by accident, how about I do you a favor and drive you down to jail" d**k winks facing the man, Rudy smiles showing a set of yellow teeth.
"When was the last time you brushed, your teeth reminds me of your future, appalling and bleak" d**k says bringing out his weapon slowly.
"You can make jokes all you want but you ain't escaping me, I am gonna torture you slowly" Rudy says, his face contorted with hatred.
"Tell that to Adolf" d**k says as he points his weapon at Rudy
"So you can either leave my flat or I can just kill you, your choice, buddy."
"I'd like to see you try" Rudy smirks. d**k smiles back as he fires the weapon, as d**k lowers the weapon, he looks over at Rudy's head, it had blown up, he falls to the ground.
"I almost feel bad" d**k mutters to himself.
"I heard you got powers, how about you make this more interesting" Rudy says as he appears in front of d**k, a shocked look crawls on d**k's face, before he could react, Rudy lifts and hauls him across the room
"So the rumors were false then, you are still human, well, I had a little upgrade. Do you like it."
Dick struggles to get to his feet, but Rudy appears in front of him again, he lifts him and sweeps him against the kitchen table.
"I am gonna kill you slowly" Rudy ends as he releases the body, d**k crashes to the wall.
Rudy leaps at him but was stopped by a figure who carries him and flings him across the room, it was Alucard, he had black leather on and wore an annoyed expression.
"You foolish mortal, your kind is dying and you are here picking fights" Alucard says shaking with anger.
"I don't know who you are and frankly, I don't care, just stay out of this" Rudy says getting up from the floor.
Alucard holds d**k, looking at Rudy
"I can't let you harm my comrade" Alucard ends as the duo vanish from sight.
