Months of grime disappeared—dried eggs in cast iron skillets, ice cream containers, take-out pizza boxes, half-filled beer cans, not to mention what lurked in the microwave, gone. Still no sign of d**k, the cat.
Following Karyn’s guidance, she created a plan: go grocery shopping, cook several casseroles to freeze for Jack to reheat for suppers, and then get the hell back home to OA meetings and Barney. She had been of service and taken care of herself.
