What is wrong, girl? I asked. All I could hear was her growling. She wanted out. “Your pizza, Luna,” the guy announced, making me jump. “Are you all, right?” “Yes,” I said, walking up to the counter. “Thank you.” I peeked at his name tag. “Nick.” His smile grew twice as big. “How much?” “On the house, Luna.” Just as I was getting ready to thank him, the door chimed, letting us know someone had walked in. Looking over, I saw two men staring at me with mixed emotions. Waving, I said, “Hey, guys,” trying to lighten the mood. Stan and Luca froze in the doorway like they’d hit an invisible wall.
