" I'm so sorry, " Lori's voice was pale and crooked as she stood next to the man she had just vomited on. Her hands shielded her mouth as she tried to stable her vision. Her heart was thumping loud and fast, she was both embarrassed and terrified of what she had done. She hoped the floor would just open up and swallow her. Lori watched the man scrub and wet his shirt with water in a desperate attempt to clean himself. She couldn't tell if it was working because he backed her. The incident made her calmer, the noises in her head were reduced to a bare minimum as she was now distracted. He finally turned around. " How does it look? " Lori's jaw dropped, she had seen her contents all over him and that his washing had been in vain. " Is it that bad? " Lori heard the man's calm voice again, the fact that it was calm was baffling. " Um... " The words couldn't find their way out of her mouth, " It's uh... " " It's okay, " He turned over to the large mirror that stood behind them, " I'll just take it off. " " I'm so sorry, " Lori faintly whispered. With that being said, she watched in awe as he ripped his shirt off him and what was left was a white undershirt. Lori's heart skipped a beat, without wasting any time, Lori began scanning the magnificent body that stood before her. Her drunken state had made her pay even more attention to detail. It didn't take much time for her to be mesmerized by his flawless skin and muscular body. She paid no attention to his face since it didn't feed her desires. The water he'd been using had also been imprinted in his undershirt, causing it to stick to his perfect body. Unbeknownst to her, she made a bold step by twirling her fingers around his body as she examined him. She couldn't tell if it was her situation playing one on her, or maybe she didn't care, she was going with the flow. Her little shenanigans have spiked her urges, now she wanted more. She wanted to taste him, as her hands were brushing past his skin, she wanted to stick them into his mouth, wherever they were. She wanted to merge her tongue with his body, she was horny. * * * * * * * * * * * * (PIERCE POV) She was even more beautiful up close, her full brown colored hair appeared too much for her little face, as it covered half of it. She wasn't the same as he saw her initially, she had finally given in to the alcohol. He wouldn't blame her, he fell for it too, but while he was able to put off a strong font, she wasn't. He couldn't leave her now, she needed him. The people she came with had all deserted her and who knows what would happen if she were all alone. He would keep her company, just until she was sane enough to fend for herself. She had such fragile eyes, her brows were thick and full. Her full hair complimented her timid stature, she was beautiful. But she was also drunk, Pierce didn't know what to make of what she was doing. Before he knew it, her fingers had begun stroking his n****e. * * * * * * * * * * * * * " Are you okay? " Pierce jerked as he held back Lori's hands, " I think you should sit. " He offered her a chair and sat next to her. " Oh my gosh, " Lori whispered as she grabbed her forehead. " Hey... relax. " He reached over to her back and proceeded to softly rub it, " Having headaches already? " Lori settled in next to him gradually, she relished in the smooth feels from the hands of a stranger felt to her. " Yeah, " She whispered. " You just need to relax and stop thinking so much. " Pierce squinted seconds later, he regretted his statement almost immediately. " Was it so obvious that I have a lot on my mind? " Lori asked. How was he to tell her that she'd been on his watch the second she stepped foot inside the party? " Your eyes looked heavy. " Pierce concluded. " Heavy? " Lori was lost. " Yeah, " Pierce chuckled, he desperately searched for a way to explain himself without revealing his true actions. Lori subconsciously scratched her eyes, " What does... what does heavy mean? " Her voice appeared pale. " I don't know, it can mean a lot of things, like pain and regret. " There was silence between them, Lori had taken his words to heart, her fist clenched as she tried to subdue her resolve. Moments later, tears dropped down her face without warning. " Oh! " Pierce jerked. Lori sobbed and bent her head even lower to hide her already soiled face. " I didn't mean to__ Pierce came to a stop when he was able to lift her face, he felt a loud thud within his chest area which caused him to freeze. He wanted to utter other words but for some reason, he was unable to. " I'm sorry, " Lori sniffed, she was weighed by the need to explain herself, to converse and she took it. " You ever suffered from something you had no power against? " She stared up at him, " You can't take anything back, what's done is done and now you have to suffer for the rest of your life, You have any idea what it feels like? " Pierce bit his lower lips and nodded slowly, " I face that every day, I know exactly what you're talking about. " " How do you do it? how can you make it all go away? " Her voice broke. Pierce breathed deeply, he had no idea that it would be hard to tell her what he thought to be the truth. " I don't... I don't know, frankly, I don't think there's a way to... to make it go away. " He shifted his full attention and gaze to her, and as he feared, she was devastated. Lori sighed, " I already knew that... was just hoping that maybe... " She scoffed, " That maybe I was wrong. " Pierce couldn't stand the feeling of guilt he suddenly felt, " Who knows, maybe I'm wrong. " " You know, one of the perks of being drunk is being realistic. " " Hmm-mm, " Pierce arched a brow, " A blessing and a curse. " They both laughed. * * * * * * * * * * * Their conversation had spiraled out of control but in a good way. Both Pierce and Lori had delved deep into their various problems and were oddly comfortable sharing. They sat very close to one another, while Lori dangled her legs and rested her chin on her left hand, Pierce began cutting Lori's fingernails with the nail cutter he always had attached to his bunch of keys. * * * * * * * * * * * " So when my dad died, he left everything for me. " Pierce stated. Lori was both physically and emotionally engrossed in their conversation, " He left out his three other kids? " " Unfortunately, I've been paying the price for it since then. " " It's not your fault, it's__ " I think I deserve it... to some extent. " He requested for her left hand to continue with the nail cutting and she gave it to him. " Why would you say that? " She wanted to know. " My father first hurt them all when he announced that he had a kid outside. To top it all up, he left absolutely nothing for them in the end, that was brutal and it's coming from me. " " I'm sure they understand__ " Yeah, I'm sure they do. " He smiled. Lori was briefly taken aback by Pierce's charming smile, the dimple that lay below his lip made him even more attractive. " I have an okay relationship with my stepbrother, but I know that he has a lot on his mind. " Pierce replied. " Maybe he had a reason, I mean you dad. " " Whatever it was, it still doesn't dispute the fact that he left everything he had for the one son he neglected. " * * * * * * * * * * * Lori sensed the awkward moment that came after, even though she was drunk. She watched Pierce sink his head and gently brush his hand through his hair, almost like he was holding back. She blinked and resumed her study on the man that sat near her, she gave lust the credit for making her p***y throb gently, she also blamed the alcohol. * * * * * * * * * * " What are you looking at? " Pierce asked abruptly. " Umm, " Lori jerked now pulled from her delusions, " Nothing, just giving you space to... to um__ " " Is it too late to ask that you forget what I said? " " It is, but I can pretend to pretend that I forgot. " She wore a tricky smile. Pierce laughed softly, " That's good enough, thank you? " " You're welcome. " * * * * * * * * * As time progressed, Lori struggled terribly to keep her resolve in check, and Pierce wasn't making it easier. He had shifted even closer to her and now she could perceive him more potently. He smelled of lavender and granite stone for some reason. Both align in a gruff and tender unison. His right hand brushed past hers and it made the hair at the back of her neck stand. She could feel herself lusting over the manly figure next to her, she yearned for him to envelope her and trap her inside of him. She was being ridiculous at this point, she knew. But all that was the effect of months without s*x, her unending issue with people around her, and of course, her apparent drunken state. * * * * * * * * * * Pierce couldn't come up with a valid reason as to why the breathing of the lady beside him was heavy, was she uncomfortable with him in any way? The thought of that made him uncomfortable and prompted him to adjust without thinking. He'd seen her clench her fists and grab her clothing with her head bowed and lips bit, what was wrong? He wanted to stay with her for a little longer, he needed some room for release, and he needed a distraction. The few minutes he shared with her had made him feel very relaxed and dare he say, cheerful. But he was also slightly concerned about her state. * * * * * * * * * " Hey, you okay__ Before his hands reached her, she pulled it in, ushering herself further into him. She was driven by hunger and applied speed. Within split seconds, she was on top of him, now seating on his lap as her eyes met with his.
