( ETHAN'S POV )
Ethan cheerful walked into the kitchen. He hardly ever entered that terrane. He hadn't been inside the kitchen area in months.
He fancied the idea of having someone at work whom he could play around with, especially one that was beautiful. Ethan wanted to pass the time and engage with her a little.
He just wanted a reason to talk to Lori, her jambalaya sauce was a good reason to.
********* ************ ***********
Lori turned to the doorway to see an unfamiliar face inside the kitchen.
" Hey, " Ethan waved and walked up to her.
Beth waved with a smile on her face. Ethan had never entered the Kitchen before, let alone to come see her. She was thrilled, she dropped whatever she was doing and walked to his direction.
Ethan was very private with their affairs, so she planned to meet up with him and leave the kitchen together. Or better, maybe Ethan was finally ready to take things to another level and usher a public meeting. Beth was delighted.
Ethan walked past Beth and went over to where Lori stood. With his hands, he perched on the slab. He rested his chin on his palm and stared at Lori with intentional dreamy eyes, to get her uncomfortable and it was working.

( BETH'S POV )
Beth was stunned, she froze where she stood as Ethan walked past here and made a stop at Lori's table. She had a rumble of thoughts hit her from different angles.
First and foremost, she was confused at the fact that Ethan even knew Lori o begin with. And the fact that he came all the way into the kitchen to see her? were they in a relationship?
The thought of that made beth shake, both in anger and denial. She remained where she was looking intensely at what played over at Lori's table. Ethan was being playful with Lori, she was meant to believe that the two were in a relationship.
Ethan and her had been screwing for a long time, and not once has he come into the kitchen for her. Or even approach her in public pertaining to their relationship. And here he was, looking like a fool in front of her former best friend.

Lori was taken aback, she tried to move on with her job but Ethan's positioning and stare made it difficult to. He even added an annoying eye blinking to the equation.
" What are you doing? " Lori whispered, cutting the Vegetables.
" Watching you. " Ethan whispered back.
" Why? "
" Because I want to. " He answered, still whispering.
Lori glanced around and realized her fellow chefs were throwing several gazes at her. What tripped her the most was Beth, who bolding stood at the front, closely watching her.
" People are staring, what the f**k. "
Ethan now looked around his surroundings for the first time. Then, he met Beth's terrifying glare. He sent a wink at her, that was his method of greeting since he missed her the first time.
" Well let them stare. " Ethan whispered.
" Why are you whispering? " Lori asked.
" Because you started it. "
Lori didn't have the time to play around with him, " I'm working, please leave. "
" Okay, " Ethan stood erect, almost like he was leaving, " That means you don't want to know the outcome of your jambalaya dish. "
Lori immediately dropped the knife and turned to him, " Wait, my dish? " She rushed.
" Bye-bye, " Ethan sang, turning to leave.
" Come back here, " Lori requested, pulling Ethan back by his collar.
" Ouch, " Ethan released, " What... what are you doing? "
Lori managed to pull him back while Ethan fought out from her grip with his hands rapidly wavering backward.
" Tell me... tell me, " Lori still struggled to get him into place.
" Fine! I'll tell you. " Ethan succumbed, now staying put, " Jesus Christ, did you take taekwondo classes? "
" What was the outcome of my dish? " Lori asked in a hurry.
" Go on a date with me and I'll tell you. " He played.
" You know, I could literally just walk out of here and find out for myself. " Lori tried to leave.
Ethan blocked her, " Hey, crazy daisy, where do you think you're going? "
" To find__
" Things has changed. " Ethan lied, " Now go on a date with me and I'll tell you everything. "
" I'm working! " Lori highlighted, loosing her patience.
" Not right now, just agree you go on a date with me. "
" Fine.. fine, I agree. " Lori was forced to say, but that didn't mean she would go.
" Swear on your mother's life. " Ethan spat.
" What the f**k, no way Jose. " Lori recited.
" Ahhh, " Ethan pointed at her smiling,
" You're playing me again, I'm leaving. " Ethan turned to leave again. This time, he protected the back of his neck from her.
" Okay wait, " Lori went for his arm, " I swear on my mother. " She rushed again.
" I can't hear you, " Ethan playfully said, " I swe___ " Lori was about to yell, but she later got aware of her environment.
" I swear on my mother's life. "
" That's Good. If you don't keep your words__
" TALK, " she violently shook him, grabbing him on the shirt.
" Your dish was accepted. " Ethan had his signature stance. His left hand held the elbow of the right hand. While his jaw rested on his right palm.
Lori smiled with her eyes lit.
Ethan found himself staring into her eyes and relishing in her sudden position.
" Earth to Lori, " Ethan called.
Lori touched her chest, " Thank you. "

( BETH'S POV )
Beth was fed up with the display, it was enough. Just watching Ethan let loose with Lori was both unbelievable and unbearable.
They were even playing cute and holding hands. Beth was questioning herself when Ethan's affiliations with Lori started, for them to be this playful.
As if the sudden evaluation with Lori wasn't hard enough, she heard them mentioned something that completely tripped her of.
No way she was letting Lori snatch her man. Beth made a move, but before she could move any further, she felt someone pull her hand and journeyed to an unknown destination.
********* ********* *********
Johnny carefully threw Beth inside the changing room and raised his brows at her, just after he folded his arms.
" Johnny, what the f**k. " Beth began, her anger was evident in the way she spoke.
Johnny uttered no words yet.
" Johnny! " She yelled.
" Bring down your voice at me and then we'll talk. "
Beth strolled back and forth inside the room.
" there you go, let out those unhinged, unneeded anger out of you. "
Beth took a deep breath, she knew it was the only way she could communicate with Johnny.
" are you ready to talk respectfully now? " Jimmy asked.
" I didn't do anything, why'd you drag me in here? " She didn't shout but her tone was mean.
" You were about to something crazy. "
" Since when is Lori close to Ethan? I don't understand. "
" Last time I checked, you told me you guys were just f*****g. So what's the problem? " Johnny knew what the problem was, but he asked anyway.
" So we should f**k the same guy? so see where this is going? " She refered to the issue with Clay Dunbar.
" He doesn't belong to you__
" HE DOES. "
Johnny held in his laughter, " Fine. They was just having a conversation, it doesn't mean they f*****g. "
" Did you see them in there? I heard something about a date, I don't want Lori near him. "
Johnny shook his head, " If you have something to say to her, you behave like an adult. Which is to have a conversation with her outside work hours. " Johnny needed to be specific, " Preferably far away from the work environment. And Do not fight... Jesus Christ. "
Beth grumbled, " Fine. " She fiercely painted at johnny, " But she better not have something to do with him, I'll murder her. "
Johnny laughed, " And I'll testify against you. "
" f**k you... " Beth hissed walking toward the door.
" I'm still your boss. " He sang.
" f**k you sir. "
Johnny laughed.

( JOHNNY'S POV )
Johnny felt the urge to let Beth know about Lori's jambalaya and the story involved. He could already imagine beth throwing a tantrum.
Johnny didn't mention it, he would sit and watched, he was doing a lot of that lately. Maybe it was time to see if beth would obey him and act mature.

( PIERCE'S POV )
Pierce was right, he was even more right when he watched the footage from the kitchen earlier. His brother was overly friendly with Lori Hart.
Pierce was disturbed about everything, boiling down to him being disturbed about the fact that he was disturbed. They even talked about going on a date?
Pierce was interested, he grew the yearn to follow through and know the time of the date, for reasons he didn't know about yet.
********** ********* **********
Ethan danced inside Pierce's office.
" Guess who just convinced the investors to invest! "
Pierce smiled, " sure... you did all the work... and not the actual food. "
" Give me some accolades. "
" You did well. " Pierce replied.
" What's next? "
" Restaurant opening Ethan... "

( ETHAN'S POV )
Gangnam restaurant was pretty basic, in Ethan's eyes. It wasn't grande in any area of concentration. Ethan was a fan of loud description, and harsh outward looks.
And when it came to decorations, he looked out for something under that umbrella. Maybe that was why the location was chosen for a d*******l.
Just thinking about what his brother made him do got him in an unstable position. The fact that Donald could have easily had the deal handled like he has always been for years, but chose to have him do it, scared the crap out of him.
What did he expect anyway? The fact that Donald should up in America's sand should have been the first red flag for Ethan.
Ethan had always been terrified of his brother Donald, he knew what he was capable of. He had stylishly threatened him into doing the d*******l, Ethan had no choice.
Ethan wished to the stars that it was a one time thing. If this was a plan orchestrated by his brother to turn him into a criminal, how will Ethan escape?
That was not possible, why will his brother want to turn him into a drug dealer in the first place? Ethan prayed that it wasn't the case.
He glanced at his wristwatch, it was almost 4, it meant that the receiver was almost there.
He rubbed his face rapidly with his palms. He was about to reveal his identity to a potential buyer as a drug dealer. This wasn't what Ethan wanted, this wasn't the road he wanted to take.
If only his father was here, none of this would have happened.
Ethan was scared, but he had to look tough. He can't let people around notice his aims. If he screws up on his first day, Donald wouldn't be so kind to him.
As always to get him in check, Ethan had a miniature of alcohol, which he had already commenced drinking.
Just then, someone walked inside the restaurant. Ethan sat erect, thinking it was his guy. But it was his stepbrother instead, Pierce Boseman.
