Jane's POV
“Take this phone and remove the password for me!” I ordered and extended the phone to the engineer that would repair it.
“Please sit down. This is going to take a long time.” He informed me and I sat on a plastic chair.
While I waited for him to finish whatever he was doing… “Should I recover those lost files on the phone or should I format everything?” He fixed his gaze on me when he asked that question.
“Recover everything. Even those files in the bin.” I replied to him at once. Hoping I could still get my hands on those files that might have been tampered with by the police.
“Okay.” Silence washed over the moment and I couldn't help those thoughts that were going through my mind as I held onto his wallet.
