Jane's POV
I relaxed in the living room leather chair. I wouldn't stop thinking about who could be behind all these.
“Doorbell rings.” I heightened my gaze when I heard the sound. ‘The people I called must definitely be around.’
I got on my feet and I went to open the door. Upon opening, it was the lawyer. “Good day, Miss Jane.” He greeted me with a half-smile.
But I maintained a straight face because I was on the verge of losing my company. “Good day. Come in.” I moved sideways and he came in. I shut the door and the both of us went into the living room.
I exhaled intensely. “Lawyer, there is a big problem.” I alerted him with a worried voice. He set his gaze on me with shock on his face. “What is the problem?” He asked as his face shrank.
