~Mia~ I muttered a few words he couldn't grasp, and attempted to make my way past him but he grabbed my wrist stopping me from going further. Yeah, I knew that was going to happen, but I thought I could take chances. "You haven't answered my questions and you want to make it past me? That's rude, Mia." He wasn't yelling out his disappointment. He was soft-spoken and those words got me stilling at the spot. "There was nothing. I was taking a walk, and on my way back, I ran into him." I said while staring at the wall behind him, unable to look him in the eyes. Kelvin's parting confession left me stunned, and I was still having a hard time processing it all. That's why I was avoiding staring at Edward in the eyes because he may see the fear that shone in my eyes, aside the weak knees
